Thanks for the feedback! I’ve learned a lot since I made this and keep thinking about coming back to give it a remake. Maybe in the future.

Thanks for the video! Appreciate it

Thanks!

The controls were fun, nice job!

Loved the winter scene. Felt cozy!

I was really trying with those camera angles, so thank you, that means a lot! And thanks for the feedback. Once I get more familiar with Blender, bet ur butt I'm gonna make some creepy af monsters.

Thank you! And thanks for the video!

Thanks, James! I've been replaying the old Resident Evil games, so I might have been a bit inspired by that in terms of gameplay lol.

I really enjoyed your game! The dialogue was great, and the voice acting made it all the more awesome!

Great game, James! As always you do an awesome job with your level design. Was a fun playthrough!

thanks for the feedback! I know Until Dawn and the Dark Pictures Anthology games have way better tank controls, so I’m gonna try and replicate that

Thanks! I find static cameras to be great for these short game jams since you don't have to fill in a lot of detail outside of the screen boundary. For navigation, was it more the controls or the level design?

Thank you!

Nice voice acting! And the porch lights worked well as guides. Unfortunate ending lol

Fun game, and always awesome to hear voice acting! Truly was a fairy tale!

I love the atmosphere! The village was pretty cool, and the SFX was creepy. Was indeed spoopy.

Thanks for playing and letting me know about the enemy SFX (sound design isn't my strong suit). The music stopping is actually scripted, (game's k̵inda hau̶̦͒n̷̯̒ṯ̸́ed, and gets more messed up the further you go)̶̱͆, but perhaps I should add an ambient track instead of removing the music completely. And I think I have a few ideas now for making the lasers easier to get past. Thanks again for the feedback! :)

I'm glad you like the game, and thank you for the feedback. Out of curiosity, did you use the 'boost' button to try and get past the lazers (LShift / Right Mouse)?

Updated! Should be a lot easier to control now.

Thanks for the video! Enjoyed watching it.

Thanks, it was fun trying to make something a bit different. And thanks for pushing through the game! I plan on updating it soon with better controls.

Voice over was awesome, and I loved the orb collecting sound effect.

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it! I ended up using Stylizer to give the graphics an extra crispiness lol. Unfortunately, a lot of people weren't able to get past the first level 'cuz of the controls, but I'm working on an update that'll make them a whole heck of a lot better :)

I won on the second try, with only 5 seconds left to spare lol. I kept shooting at the last target, but my balls kept bouncing off of an invisible collider lol. Almost didn't win.

Thanks, I busted my butt on SFX at the last minutes. Oh no, I knew I shoulda spent more time on player movement lol. I’ll definitely have to fix that because there’s a BUNCH more to the game than meets the eye lol.

Nice gameplay, and nice implementation of the UI and points system. Keep up the good work!

This is a fun game, and I like how you programmed the barrels to push you down. Also, the additional challenge of avoiding sharks from the side is nice.

I know I always say this but, the music and level design in your games are always so relaxing and meditative. The underwater theme fits perfectly with your aesthetic imo. And the ending was definitely worth catching all 10 aquadillos lol.

That was... that took a turn lol. I really liked the story, and after completing it, the music didn't seem so pleasant lol.

I won! lol

Was fun to play and kinda reminded me of a VR shooter. Really nice atmosphere, with the rain falling and the neon lights saturating the watery city.

Such a great video for such a short game! lol. Thanks, Z9!

Thanks for trying it out! Glad you liked it :)

Thanks, I'm glad it creeped you out lol

Thanks, I enjoyed watching!

Thanks! Was fun to watch!

Thanks for playing, happy you liked the monsters! And I'm making a longer version of the game to be released hopefully soon!

Thanks, I'm glad you had fun!

Thanks for the video! I enjoyed watching it!

You have made a visually stunning game with a nice story and controls that felt great! I love the environment (how the heck did you achieve such an amazing sky??? I was literally taken back by it and spent a good minute staring at it). All in all, great job! I loved it!

Thanks!
