I love the pixel art and animation! Very unique use of the theme and limitation as well! Tough to get the hang of, though, haha.
I also couldn't even tell at first that it was procedurally generated, the generation felt very natural!

Gosh, as a lover of idle games, this one was absolutely addicting! The leaderboard was definitely a great inclusion, because I just had to try beat the top score! xD Couldn't actually figure out what even was giving me stars, though; it kept updating randomly: was it just related to the number of fish you got?
Tonnes of fun, though, love all the effects and the different fish for different amounts. Though there were so many sound effects the background music kept cutting out, haha!

I liked the little story its got going on! Was a bit disoriented with the controls at first, but it definitely added to the challenge! Enjoyed it once I got the hang of it! Interesting twist of the coin pickups actually being amo, haha!
That restart screen noise was a little grating on the ears, though.

Love seeing other submissions with creative punny acronyms of UFO!
I honestly think the shooting version might be harder, with what feels like more enemies spawning xD
Making the fish crash into each other and explode is incredibly satisfying, though!

Hmm, my idea to address that might be to have a kind of brief "intro" section, where the grid is the focus just for the first loop to introduce it. Before it moves back to mostly being in the background.

I love this game concept so much! It's so cool, and fun, and satisfaying; I could play it for ages! I need more of this, haha! I would love to see a fuller game with this concept with more levels and beats / songs.
