Hey there! Thank you for enjoying the game!

Your suggestion was indeed the original goal of the game. I wanted it to be a really long climb reaching towards a mountaintop very much inspired by Getting Over It. But this being my second game ever, figuring out how to build the platforming segments, tilemapping, messing with the camera, learning how to load the segments into gameplay, etc. took a good chunk out of the jam period... and by the time I got to flesh out and attempt to polish the game, it was 4 a.m on the day of the submission.

I would be super down to revisit this game in the future once I've grown more as a developer, the idea I had seemed sound and I already had a bunch of assets lying around (while I was learning and failing to implement on time). But until then, thank you for your kind words, it was very encouraging!
