same (but slightly different top section), i wasn't sure if it was intended to use it or not

Never thought a word search would become one of my favorite puzzles of all time...

That being said, this experience blew my mind, thinking about how each puzzle was made to accommodate both the beginning and end solutions. Everything beautifully fell into place at the end, and it made me feel smart. (i also liked how the titles subtly alluded to the theme of the puzzle)

Some things I was left wondering though:
On #5, are the blobs on _ _ _ I S _  just red herrings and it's actually only X I S?
On #6, were there supposedly twelve "a1"s hidden behind the blob?

Either way, amazing design! 10/10, took ~4.5h.

kicking it off with a relatively high bar!

i got the rare o-spin tetris and z-spin super tetrible

i found a way to replicate the infamous hold game over glitch

step 1: get an "i" piece
step 2: rotate the "i" piece twice
step 3: hold the "i" piece
step 4: reduce the board to minimum width
step 5: hold

hopefully this gets you to fix this glitch (notice how the "i" is slightly shifted over in the hold queue)

fun fact: you can reflect one of the "particles" to get to the teleport gun early, but you can't do much once you're there.

Really cool concept and makes for a fun puzzle game. I think that this could have a lot of potential in expanding it into a full game, if that's something you're interested in. Great work!

Just saying, there has been 14 reruns in a row.

13² lines

may not seem like much but the mechanic gets you a lot

idk a good start

hold bug at 68, not impressive so i won't send a pic

it might have something to do with pressing space then pressing hold on the next frame to trick the game into thinking the piece placed was at the top of the board, but probably not

and again?

i somehow replicated it?

hold bug :(

but how

pretty fun getting to experience all the versions i never got a chance to

this is because if there is a high block and you hold soft drop and then do hard drop, the next piece will place really fast

uh... what

random death, i did not use hold key

he must've forgot today

use the first 7 columns for large blocks and last 3 for mini blocks. occassionally you'll need to put large blocks in the 3-wide. this worked pretty well for me until my controls stopped working for a sec. i had fun with this one!

starting it off with 32.5

game lags a lot with large pieces.

@henriforshort what time zone do you live in, just wonderin

yay you finally fixed the combos!

i got 40... so close

i might have just been unlucky, but it still seems to be the case, just less so. anyways, heres my pb as of rn

tip: use squares

i feel like the game never spawns an "apple" in the middle columns unless it absolutely has to. this gets annoying at times. time to switch up my strategy...

now do a kirbtris lol

not for me, check your keybinds.

this game is getting more and more like puyo puyo every day... starting it off with 44 lines

terrible idea: "auto rotate tetrible"

self explanatory. rules:

1. you can't rotate

2. the game rotates for you every so often

from a coding pov, this idea should be fairly easy to implement. if you want, rotating could become more frequent as the gravity increases.

phase-thru blocks, lines not clearing (even when all blocks have collision)

i wonder if there is a setup that lets you infinitely score lines...

yay! thx

(1 edit)

lol

i was gonna get 145 lines, but i accidentally went over by one so i decided to just keep playing

no whhy

finally managed to get a record!
the speed at the end was killing me though :/

i think they're talking about when you take a L/I/J piece to max height, hold it, then take it out of hold. pretty sure it doesn't have to do with the previous reason

also random game over?

i pressed the hold key and then i lost?

maybe that was just an issue with pressing hold and hard drop at the same time and it made the game think the placed piece was above the board? idk i can't remember if i pressed hold but i pressed right arrow key iirc

also i don't remember pressing hard drop

i just think this is a very rare occurrence
