You're what you eat taken to whole another level. An interesting little puzzler.

I keep getting lost. And eaten. Then lost some more. So I eat and try to get bigger. Then I get stuck. No end in sight, no hope. Just the endless choir in the background.

Will I ever escape?

Definitely an interesting concept. Have you thought about adding some sort of voice/sound recognition to vary the weapons? That would be awesome.

Thank you for the feedback, I'm glad you liked it.

As for getting in your own way - clone management is a weird skill. Often it pays to hard reset and start over when you mess up one/two clone pathings. Also since the clone movement isn't 100% reliable, it is a good idea to not do "pixel perfect" jumps and such - it increases the likelihood of the clone doing something really weird. That part is not intentional though and would have to be polished. It is a byproduct of the way that the looping mechanics was implemented - and which will probably need to be revisited.

Thank you for your kind words.

The "wait for the others" was intentional. That being said, if we go ahead and try to take this further, I think I will remake the whole loop to be less finicky - and that includes this wait. Originally I intended for this to be a mechanism to naturally limit the number of clones that are worth keeping around - at no point it should be necessary to have more than five-ish clones. (maybe except the final stretch) However it proved to be somewhat confusing and it creates some rather weird interactions if you have 10+ clones around. (which you shouldn't)

As for the character art I'm glad you like it. When it was created it turned out so well that I'm using it to this day as a profile image on discord  :-)). Interestingly it is the only piece that wasn't created for this game. It's an asset I commissioned ages ago for a different game and then ended up never using it since the game turned into something different and it no longer fit. So I only have the left/right/idle and sit movement since that artist wasn't available for this jam due to the midterms.
