Simple concept very well executed, congrats ! 👍

Hi !

I'm a french software programmer for 10+ years and I'm making games on my free time for the last 3 years. I've already create a few games (game jam or idea prototype) solo and in team, and I worked alone full time on a game for nearly one year (not released yet because I'm not satisfied with the assests I've done 😅). Naturally, I'm leaning toward making puzzle games, but I'm also excited when I try working on a new genre 😊 You can check what I've already done here. I'm working with Phaser only (I like my games to be playable directly on any web browser).

I'm looking for a 2D artist to team up with, preferably with some experience in making games, to create the best game possible in the given time frame I love discussing and debating over game ideas, I don't hesitate to redo some parts of a game if I think it's worth it and I tend to always try to find the flaws when a new idea is brought to the table, so I'm looking for someone that like to work that way 👍 I'm open to any art style, even the most eccentric ones !

Happy jam ! 😄

Thanks for your feedback :)

Thanks for your feedback ! Yeah, in it's current state, the game is a bit hard to understand (even if understanding how it works is part of the game design, this is way too shady for now) and not that fun :/ But the person who proposed to be in charge of the art part just dropped me in the middle of the jam, so I had to spend more time on the graphics (and this is really REALLY not my thing) and less on the game mechanics unfortunately :(

Thanks a lot :D Nope it isn't but if you have some questions about how some things are done, feel free to reach me out on Discord : Patapits#4604

Yep definitely, with something that prevent unintended respawn by getting too close to your body

OK I get it, it can be intended in some puzzles to have to do a precise jump, but maybe it should be presented in a more natural way. And I can see which door you're refering to, we should have hidden a little platform behind it for a quick fix 😅

Thanks for your feedback 😃
Yeah, the game post-dash is currently very bland 😅
For the need to running away from your body to respawn, you're the first (I think ? 🤔) to point out that, and it is something that I think need some adjustements : currently it takes too much time for something that simple. We can eventually add a button just for that, but it seems a bit the easy way, there's probably a more elegant way of solving this problem.
Anyway, thanks again !

Thanks for your kind words ❤️
What do you mean by "some of the jumps feel a bit claustrophic" ?
And yeah, vertical transitions between rooms need some tweaks, maybe with a an initial minimum velocity when entering a new room from the bottom.

Thanks for your feedback 😃 We just updated the game with a fix for that (and a little tribute to you 🤫).

I'm working on a full game release, and I'll probably update the control scheme following your nice advice 😉

And there will be of course more levels !

Anyway, thanks a lot for your feedback 👍
