Wow! Thanks so much for the amazing support, I didn't think everyone would like the concept so much, it truly means a lot to me and my brother :) I will check when I can enter the next game jam again.

Hey everyone, I just uploaded a new version that removes the Curve Control mechanic and greatly tweaks the physics in order to make aiming and firing shot a lot more accurate and comfortable. I also refined the UI to make it a bit less imposing and keep the main focus on the game itself.
Would love to hear what everyone thinks of the new aiming/physics as well as the new UI?
Stay tuned as the concept progresses!
Thank you again so much for everyone's amazing support and feedback, I truly appreciate it :)
Hey everyone, I just uploaded a new version that tweaks the physics a bit to make it a bit more accurate as well as make it fully compatible with mobile.
Hope everyone enjoys and looking forward to hearing what everyone thinks.
Thanks again so much for all the amazing support and feedback, I truly appreciate it :)
THANK YOU so much for the support and the kind words, it really means a lot :) So glad to hear you enjoyed the game and like the concept.
Apologies to hear about the bug you ran into, I would love to be able to carry on with the concept and fix up the lingering issues and expand on the concept.
I suspected the Cash Cards might be a bit game breaking with the current setup, but I wanted to keep it that way to have it there for people discover and then find an easier way to get to all the upgrades and get the gist of the prototype a bit quicker and easier to experience all of the facets, but for a final version I would def tweak the Cash Cards a bit.
Thanks again so much for the compliments and the feedback, I truly appreciate it. Will let you know if I get to be able to carry on with this concept :)
Thanks so much for the kind words and the support, I truly appreciate it. Apologies to hear about the bugs and glitches you ran into. If I am able to concentrate on this concept further I would love to be able to fix them up, expand on the idea and push it to it's full potential. Thanks again so much for the support and the feedback, it truly means a lot :)
Ah damn, so sorry to hear that. Sorry, I can't build our for Mac, cause I don't have a Mac system. I originally tried building out for Web, but there are some plugins and systems that I use that don't play well with Web unfortunately, so converting it would take some time and testing and I'm already busy with the next prototype I need to do for my commitments and funding. When is the judging phase ending? I will try and check if I can perhaps work something out.
Wow! Thanks so much for the kind words and for checking Katspoegie out, I really appreciate it!
Apologies to hear about the performance issues your'e having, I think I accidentally forgot to enable the Graphics settings for the game, I will try to get an update out later today that will re-enable it then you should be able to set the graphics a bit lower, sorry I didn't really have enough time to concentrate much on optimization.
I am planning on doing a 2nd Prototype in a month or 2's time with new game modes, I will try to check if I can make the movement and collisions a bit less clunky then.
Thanks again so much for the support and the valuable feedback, I truly appreciate it :)
Hi, thanks so much for the heads up and sorry to hear about the issues youre having playing Katspoegie. No, it doesn't require Unity. Are you downloading it from itch via the browser or are you installing it through the itch client? Could you perhaps share a screenshot of the permission restriction youre receiving? Perhaps check if an Anti-Virus or Firewall is blocking the game? Apologies again to hear about the trouble you are having, hopefully we can find a solution without too much hassle.
Wow! Thanks so much for the kind words and giving Katspoegie a try. Also thank you so much for the feedback, I'm gonna try make the uses for the blue and red a bit more apparent as they are used to switch enemy colours in order to allow the tower to recognize and attack them. I will take a look at the Power-Ups menu as well as I know the buttons are a bit iffy on it, as a tip the whitened out buttons are unselectable, there are 5 power-ups for each the tower and the player but only 3 slots each so every time you select a new power-up (not an upgrade) a random other power up gets disabled, this is to encourage replays and combos with different power ups. I will def check if I can somehow make the background a bit les obtrusive without breaking the atmosphere.
Thanks again so much for the amazing feedback and trying out the game, I really appreciate it. I'm gonna take on a new concept for my next prototype, but I will prob come back to this one in about a month or 2.
Hi everyone, I got my 1st Game Jam Prototype out, I've always just done commercial projects and never thought I would enjoy Game Jams so much, I didn't think I would get it done in a month, but with the help of my brother, who made all the clay figurines and handcrafted miniatures I think we more or less got the core concept and aesthetics that we were aiming for in terms of prototype scope at least.
We would really like to carry on with the concept in the near future, we have some crazy other game modes and levels that we want to try out and then get everything combined into one monster package.
Would love to hear what everyone thinks and how we can improve the formula as well as fine tune the experience.
Thank you in advance for any and all support and time that anyone can spare, we would truly appreciate it :)
Ah, I don't think it's possible, it seems to submit to the Game Jam I would need to publish. Damn, I would need to sit out this Game Jam as I have not gotten the go ahead yet to publish the prototype's page to public as there are still necessary changes and additions that I need to do for it and I wouldn't want to violate the agreement I made with the local funding program. I will try and catch the next one. Thanks again for hosting these and supporting small indies and sorry for the hassle.
Hello,
Apologies for the bother, the prototype I want to submit for the Game Jam is part of a local funding program and I am not allowed to make the game public just yet but would really like to participate, I just wanted to check if I can submit a title that is Restricted to the Game Jam or if it is against the rules? Also I am scared of submitting it and it get set to public due to submitting it, how can I ensure that it stays Restricted and I can still submit it to the Game Jam, if that is possible?
Please, any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks so much for hosting this Game Jam.
