I'm not sure what constitutes as a 'paywall' - there is a demo and there is a full development version, don't buy it if you did not enjoy playing the demo!
The game is very much being actively developed so reworks will happen if its for the long-term benefit of the game. Perhaps you'd also like to mention that after things settled down after the rework, pretty much everyone said they liked it better now? ;).

Hello!
I found this post (https://itch.io/t/2006911/paid-web-build) about a year old on this very topic, and it seems that there was an experimental mode that allowed this. I would like players who have paid for my game to be able to access it online, currently I have to manually hand out keys to a separate project that is set to restricted with the paid version as an embedded HTML5 game, which is do-able but clunky, and it also means I have to update various projects on new releases.
Is this mode still in development and accessible? Or has the idea perhaps been scrapped? Would love to be able to use it!
Hey, thought you'd like to know I used this and some of your other backgrounds in my game I Want To Be A Hero: https://skeyne.github.io/I-want-to-be-a-hero/
