I made it as part of 48 hour game jam so everything was made from scratch in only two days, coded and modeled (mostly, some models are from here on itch). So if the only real gripe you can give me in two comments is a mediocre jump scare but you liked the ambience, then I'll take that as a win. Appreciate you playing it and leaving a comment tho!
Thank you! Loved the video haha don't worry, there's no secret ending or anything you missed! Since I only had a short time limit I had to cut some things out.
And ScareBNB has turned into a much bigger game I'm working on called "The Latchkey Kid". It takes place in the same universe as ScareBNB but has a different storyline and will be much longer and have more gameplay/puzzles. Im shooting for a release this summer but I don't want to rush it!
I will eventually reveal the basement of ScareBNB though... ;)
I absolutely love this pack! I'm using a lot of the base meshes as the building blocks for my horror game and they have been a lifesaver! I believe in credit where credit is due so when the game comes out I'll be sure to have you in the credits section under "Models/Assets Creation"! (If that's okay with you of course!)
Thank you so much!! I really appreciate all the kind words, it means a lot :) and that's interesting, I haven't heard those bugs yet I'll look into it! After you answer the phone and the cutscene is triggered, even if you're not under the bed but are able to avoid him, it should work, so I can't imagine why that would effect picking up the axe 🤔 hmmm thank you for bringing it to my attention tho!! :)
Ah well, I'm sure they're working on it. I was looking around more though, even though my download is free,I was able to get the "Downloads not starting?" button to work. I'm not sure if it's because I have a second optional file you can download, (it's a .txt file with credits for the assets I used), but it seemed to work for me for now!
