Ok, after reading the other comments, I finally made some sense of it. I think I might have figured it out sooner if the little dot where a carrot or arrow. I wasn't getting that it was trying to show me the heading of the planets I was placing; I kept thinking I needed to either click inside the graph, or on the red dot itself.
Come to think of it, having the cursor appear as a carrot or arrow, and just moving that around in space might alleviate the need for the little graph, entirely- and keep silly people like me from chasing the red dot around. :D
It was much more fun now that I get the gist of it. :)
I've played this twice now, and it sounds like a nifty concept, but I feel like I might be missing something.
I've been clicking on the grid in the upper right corner sort of like it's a slot machine, with no idea what it does, or what it means.
Then when the score gets calculated, I just have no idea how that relates to what I did.
