I figured out what was the problem.

When you load a custom content directory, EDuke32 will try to create the save file in a folder with the same name as the loaded folder.

So, to solve the issue, you just have to create a folder with the same name as the one you use to load custom content in you EDuke32 folder and the game should start work normally again.

It would be nice if you could describe in more detail what kind of game you want to make.

There is still 3 enemies left to be done with about 6 dedicated animations each, when it comes to the tiles I'm actually not sure but it wouldn't be that many probably 3 sets with a few other sprites for decoration purposes.

I'm working on a short shooter game similar to Nuclear Throne mixed with RPG mechanics set in a urban fantasy setting similar to that of World Of Darkness, the project is mostly playable but currently is lacking many art assets.

Right nowI'm the only one doing art for this project but would like to focus on just programming. What remains to be done is just some enemy sprites and tiles, so if you are interested in helping making art in the style of the GIFs below, even if you don't have a portfolio, please contact me.

My team is currently working on a short shooter similar to Nuclear Throne mixed with some RPG mechanics set in a urban fantasy setting similar to that of World Of Darkness, the game is at a playable state, but is currently lacking proper art and animations.

We are in the search of someone who can do low resolution pixel art (by which I mean 16x16px or 32x32px tiles and 16x32px or 32x64px characters).

Right now there are no plans of actually monetizing the game in any way, all the work is being done for hobby purposes, if this ever changes later we'll do rev share.

Right now we don't have anything specific in mind, but I believe pixel art would be easier to work with, and a distinct color scheme should call more attention to the game.

The scale of objects and characters will be on the smaller side like that of Moon Hunters, with more detailed portraits showing up during conversations.

Awesome man, this project is a learning experience for everybody involved! Would you be interested in making music in other genres other than Metal?

This is a cool little game that I hope to see more of in the future, I just wish it provided the option to run or "walk fast" through the map, since I tend to backtrack a lot through the map.

Eu gostaria de reportar também que o jogo crasha constantemente em lugares diferentes em tempos diferentes, mas eu não consegui identificar o porquê disso só jogando, é algo em que se deve ficar de olho.

Certo, eu dei uma jogada. Sei que ainda tá bem no início do desenvolvimento mas vou dizer, no estado atual do jogo, a movimentação é muito simples, o que não é necessariamente um problema, mas já que os obstáculos e níveis também são muito simples isso acaba tornando o jogo meio monótono já que ele não oferece mecânicas de plataforma e nem puzzles interessantes, eu recomendaria adicionar mais variedade com outros tipos de plataforma e ações para o personagem do jogador.

Como é que joga, cara? Tentei apertar todas as telas do teclado, clicar em tudo e não consegui sair da tela de título.
