The only way is to guess or looking at what other adventurers are wearing right now. I'm adding hints for the next version to make it easier to find craft recipes. 

That one is really tricky, I'm working on hints for the next version. I can help out with the peels. You can combine them with one slime cube and then use the result for crafting.

Thank you, I've gotten similar feedback about the crafting recipes, there will probably be something like that in the next update but it may be a while until then. I haven't thought about a map. Maybe that could be a good idea, I'll think about it.

Did you try the new 1.0.1 version?

Are you able to add anything to the crafting slots to the left of the crafting button by right clicking slime cubes or other items in your inventory?

There is a new version now, the save folder should be fine to copy to the new version.

Thanks for finding this. I'll fix it. I see there is an issue when pressing right mouse button. Does left mouse button work?
Hint: 4 slime cubes should be something
