Hi, another person surprised that the previous version they paid for is no longer available.
The sale price of this one is the same as the price I paid for the original, so please can I have a copy to replace the one taken down?
I heard about this on a recent episode of the AP podcast "These Silent Secrets" and was immediately interested. I liked the gesture of including some consideration of asexuality in the Monsterhearts 2 book, but it did feel a little underdeveloped maybe, so I was really happy to see some rules written by and for people under the ace/aro umbrella.
I've literally read it through once, but the immediate thoughts are:
Overall, this is fantastic supplement and well worth the price!
I've been kicking about an idea about crossing the Lovecraft Mythos and Inception, so I'm thinking I'll try and make it a bit more than just this:
"What if we could incept Cthulhu with the idea that the stars are wrong so that he never wakes up?"
I think it'll be a little mini-game, probably PbtA-ish maybe?
Erm... I read a few blog posts recently about introducing Marxist/socialist gameplay into the OSR and thought to myself "why not try to adapt some of these ideas to mix in with more general OSR non-combat themes and try to apply that to D&D 4e. How could that be a horrifying abomination?" So, yeah... that's what I'm trying to do 4e, but you don't get rewarded for punching things and instead have to try and cooperate to make the world a better place for all the monsters who live there :/
