What a wonderful compliment!

You got me curious about the word somaturgy, and it looks like it's used pretty heavily in the "Bas-Lag" book series, which honestly sounds pretty interesting! Otherwise, not a very common term, but definitely a cool one! Thank you!

I would put this under CC-BY-4, so you don't need to ask permission (but I certainly appreciate it!), just credit me somewhere for it (there's guidelines with that link if you want to get really official with it).

However, if you are wanting to use it to build your own monsters to put in your work, then it's not really my work at that point.

So, the only thing that ties this to D&D5e is the fact that I said this was made to be used with that game. The supplement doesn't actually reproduce anything directly from the monster manual, so there's no worry there!

That's fair! Thanks for responding!

Any thoughts about co-op rules?

The Mystical Magical Billiard Ball Tabletop Role-Playing Game Resolution System is a tongue-in-cheek, double-sided brochure-sized role-playing game designed to pick up and play almost immediately! Use a couple of tables to cobble together a plot idea, then use pre-made or original characters to solve whatever problems that are plaguing them!

And yes, you can, in fact, use one of those fortune-telling billiard balls (however, you can also use 2 six-sided dice, should you lack that very specific kind of soothsaying orb).

Hey hey! Small Time Adventures is just a couple of weeks old, but It's already had a big update! The game is a short and simple fantasy RPG that gives players some tools to build complex characters while keeping all the mechanics really simple for the GM. All of the enemies/NPCs/threats have a Target Number that represents their capability or threat. Players build a pool of D6s from "slices" of cliché fantasy classes and succeed if one of the rolled dice meets or beats the Target Number. If the GM needs to roll for anything, they roll a single D6 and the enemy/NPC/threat succeeds if the result is equal to or lower than the Target Number.

While that pretty much describes the whole game, the updated version has an inventory system and an armor system for players to play around with. And yes, I was able to keep it all on one page.

I've been getting a lot of feedback talking about it not being visually very good. That seems to be an area I need to work on for it. I definitely wouldn't use this to run long games, but it should hold up for a few sessions/adventures. I'm working on an update that will hopefully make the whole thing easier to read as well as add a couple more features that might help its longevity.

Thanks!
