I know this feeling

Very cute.

I couldn't get any other ending except "Sucked Into Black Hole" I was hoping item combinations would change it somehow :D

We made this for the Jam https://itch.io/jam/gn-game-jam-15/rate/3115488

Very cute and I like the initial idea. I couldn't figure out (in short session) any way to control the outcome :D

Atmosphere was nice. I had a hard time figuring out what when or how I could use items since the only on with any feedback was the duck. :D Good job! I'm also one of the Jammers we made https://itch.io/jam/gn-game-jam-15/rate/3115488

En pelannut peliä mut huomasin kuvista, että Leisure Suit Larry 1 on ollut kova inspiraatio.

Thank you! I've been meaning to update this for the longest time but others projects / life / family have kept me busy :D

Really interesting level those moving "snakes". How do they work?

Kiitos! Aina iloa nähdä muita alan harrastajia.

En voi ottaa kaikkea kunniaa esimerkiksi tästä pelistä. AnonEve ja PerunaMuusa tekivät arttia, mutta olen kyllä tehnyt esimerkiksi Royal Game of Ur:iin kaiken itse :D

😌✌️ Thanks for playing. Game Jam Games always lack something 😇

They don't have any mercy 😂. Leonard is a bit more aggressive so he is more prone to make unlucky moves 😃

It was surprisingly a) simple b) a chore to get the "performance" of the Voice generator to sound natural. I'm really Happy you enjoyed it 😌

😂😂😂

That's wonderful! Thanks for playing.

Yeah, Kevin doesn't think ahead that much :D

Hope to see it ✌️

Yeah 😃 I tend to usually grind on Game Jams If I can but just because a Jam is like 14 days doesn't mean you have to work 14x12h 😂

I'm getting otettu good at estimating and scoping for a given time frame ✌️

56th in Innovation :D Thanks to everyone who played tho i don't feel I deserved it as the mechanic is just copied from Resident Evil :D

Here's my confession :D

Thanks! Been getting alot of feedback that my theming isn't on-point but I disagree :D

Thanks!

Well-earned kind words.

I played and rated! https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-11/rate/2534279

I shit my pants. Good job :D :D :D. I'm here for the rate swap :D My game isn't scary tho :)

Excellent. One of the best games I've played int his Jam. Impressive how you made this in just 3-4 days. Coherent look, fun gameplay, well concepted boss with two stages. Marvelous work! 4,9/5 from me.

I would love if you rated my game. I made it solo in around 8 hours :D

Also made a devlog about it.

Thanks! 😂 No The background music is creative commons music.

Thanks for The feedback The camera has Been mentioned before and especially while playing PVE it is unnecessary to rotate The kamera.

I might update this at some point and I'll check these comments for feedback when the that time comes.

I'm glad you like it.

HD Available in 52minutes... :D

I was striving for an easy game where you'd spend more time listening to the story than solving shadow puzzles :D I was trying to lean into an atmosphere, mood and narrative than making a mechanically complex game.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you got something out of it!

Thank you! Some players feel like I strayed too far from the Theme but I think an abstract interpretation is completely valid :D

Thank you 😃 Yeah... Theming is my most common critique. Perhaps I figured this too abstractly 😂

Thanks! I'm glad you liked it.

I took an abstract approach to the theme. The question "What's behind the door?" Implies to me something, ominous and perhaps unknown. A mystery, intrique and perhaps something entirely unknowable.

This reminded me of Plato's allegory of the cave where he describes in a narrative people who've only seen shadows of the real world and thus can't know reality as it is. So I went with that interpretation :D

Kinda hard to control, but a nice implemantation of the theme. Quite clever I think. Also nice implemantation despite the controls :D

Good job!

I didn't know simulation game were allowed.

I finished this just to be spitefull :D Appreciated the original music in the final boss fight :D

Wonderful job. I managed to get the game to glitch out and crash a couple of times by going backwards throught some doors I propably wasn't supposed to get through :D

Great atmosphere, good theming, innovative design and cozy game-feel.

Magnificent. Really cute. The PC version bugged out for me when I reached the door in the end. But absolutely fantastic job. Fantastic visuals, a coherent story and difficult is good for a Jam Game!

4,8/5 from me.

Really cute and complete. I had some bug so I had to restart several times. First no animals simply ever arrived and a couple of times I just couldn't answer texts, clicking or dragging simply did nothing.

Impressively complex and very adorably game you managed to make in just a week. Good job!

Your characters animation rigging was impressive for a Jam Game. Visually I think your character is one of best made I've seen.

Perhaps your game is a bit "unforgiving" at points :D It's really easy to die and be sent back to the start by pure accident :D

Other than that. Good job!

Oh thanks alot! I was trying to put emphasis on more of a feeling and small story and a mechanical game. (Since I didn't have much time)

The puzzle mechanic is fully joinked from Resident Evil but it was fun to figure out how to make it! :)

I try to make Jam Games easy. When people play alot of games for a couple of minutes you don't wanna play like playing a Souls-Like and "Git-Gud" :D

I tried to focus on  a mood and a small story.

Thanks for playing! I'm gonna go play your game in exchange!

Thanks for playing!

I thought of "What's Behind The Door?" as the question. I think it refers to something, unknown, mysterious or incomplete knowledge. It reminded me of Plato's allegory of the cave https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allegory_of_the_cave which deals with escaping ignorance out from a world of only shadows to the world of realism.

But yes, my game has no doors :D
