Im sorry to hear about your uncle. I hope you got the visa.

Thank you, Im sure your knowledge will help others in the same need of breakout-like games.

Thank you sir.  Your review are very much appreciated.

I think i have spent about one work year on MadCowBalls2 but it was and is always a learning process for me as i am a amateur. There have been times where i just spend one day or two back tracking and trying to understand why a feature isnt working as expected, some times to the point were i just scrap a feature and start all over.

Thank you.  I might come back with a new game later on.

I had fun boating.

MadCowBalls2

Nicely done. Im not good enough to beat the demo but its great fun.

Hi,

I know a lot of people are using Unity to create indie games. Are there any love for the Clickteams software? Would you like to join a Jam with games only created with any Clickteam software?

Nice concept and music. Its a hard one.

A good game. The controls are a bit slow when changing direction but maybe thats just me. Good job!

I like the movement of the player and the art. Good job!

its too fast for my taste. Its something you can challenge your friend with.

Simple but well done.

Good level design and mechanics. If you create a another level i would suggest that you also add another soundtrack as it is short.

173 is my best score so far. The sound didnt work in my firefox. Its intense and funny. The power ups are also good.

If you make another one, add some more space betwen the player and the edge of the screen, to give the player more time to react. Overall att great game.

I got stuck behind a tree but i still had a lot of fun playing this game. If you read this and dont know if you want to try it, do it. Its a great game.

As someone else mentioned, this is not a micro game. Adding something ingame to teach the player how the combat system works would be great.

Given more time(and maybe pixels) im sure it can be even better.

Thank you. I may have a small issue with keeeping my scope small (Just one more thing...).

Great feedback. I will try to add a minimap or something else to make it easier in the next game of this type.

I tried some random elements to the map aswell but its limited. The walls have 4 settings (32pix chunks) for a small variation. Stones have 32 and bushes 7 + random scaling.I played a lot, a lot and maybe more Diablo2 when i grew up. I want to create a game with elements from D2 but at this time i there is too many things i dont understand how to do.

Simple but good game.

I Added visual affect when collecting a bonus, more blood and more ammo. Updated the logo aswell.

BloodyAwful

(1 edit)

I got some more free time this weekend and decided to put some more work into BloodyAwful. Current version is 1.1 and i added visuals of ammunition and the Weapon in use. I also updated some visuals of the powers ups.

Added:

Day/NIght Cycle. Monsters will be more agressive at night.

Shutgun, sword, rifle, traps.

Plasma upgradable to lvl 30 and will degrade slowly if used a lot.

The bugs now spawns from caves They also can hide in the caves to replanish thier life. The caves can also be affected by radiation, viruses and fire.

I have been using Clickteam (Klick and Play, The games Factory, Fusion, Fusion 2.0, Fusion 2.5), Game maker, C++(textbased game) and Qbasic.

I am not a good programmer but i have a bit of understand.  There are a lot of extensions made by the community and as of later years not so many bugs. I few years ago i could stop working on a project because it was toobig and had too many bugs digging too deep into the core game mechanics. You could argue that my current project, MadCowBalls2 is half a game and half a framework to support most 2d games.

At the moment im using Clickteam Fusion 2.5, BTV Solo and Gimp. If someone want some help with something in any of the Clickteam applications mentioned above im happy to help out.

Thank you again for your help. I would recommend you to anyone looking for translating a game from English to French.

Im in need of translation from english to italian. I tried to reach you on twitter but was unable to send a private message. The game in mind is MadCowBalls2, released on Steam and the free version on itch.

Hi,

Im trying to understand if a bug is gone or not and could use some help with testing it. A few players have reported that the game doesnt start, the launcher get unresponsive. I cannot reproduce the bug in the current version of the game but before patch 2.3 i got it myself when losing focus on the window when the launcher started up.

Would you like to give it a try? Feel free to test any other part of the game aswell if you want to.

Hi again.

Instead of searching for MadCowBalls2 "Start Safe mode(No game launcher)" you can use (marked in red). I didnt think of this workaround before and it will also be easier if someone else faces the same issue. Stats that make you complete Cow Progress and Steam Achievements will still be saved.

  • Green: Game lanucher.
  • Blue: Stand alone installer (Cure OS issues, play the game without Steam).
  • Black: Screensaver setup.
  • Red: Start the game without the launcher.

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience. There was a bug that i fixed in patch 2.3, unresponsive launcher. Its also possible to launch the game without the launcher (Search for MadCowBalls2.exe). It had something to do with the window being out of focus the first 2 seconds. If you have the patch you will be able to resize the window and the launcher should scale up or down, just as the playable game.

Thank you and i hope this solves the issue. I will send an email aswell.

Hi,

Thank you. This game (MadCowBalls) doesnt seem to work as expected on my own computer. I will likely add most of the feature and graphics to the MadCowBalls2 as a game mode or upgrade path.

MadCowBalls2 had a bug in the launcher. If you had problem when unresponsive launcher you may try again. Its also possible to launch the game (Search for MadCowBalls2.exe) without the launcher.

My friend code on Steam is 52198326. Feel free to add me. I wish the arcade cabinets would come back. I missed the era as im too young.

Sadly you have to pay the same amout to lancuh a DLC, Soundtrack, Demo or a full game on Steam. I think that may be the main reason why there are so few free gams on Steam.
