its too fast for my taste. Its something you can challenge your friend with.
The movement is just a little too slippery for me, make platforming difficult. For your first time making art, it's pretty good, especially the characters.
I liked the game. Is it 64x64? I do not think so. Very good art.
I think it is. I set the resolution of all of my sprites to 64x64
The restriction of this jam is that the game itself (ie. the final image rendered to screen) is a maximum of 64x64, not that each sprite is a maximum of 64x64.
Oh, ok. I'll see if it qualifies.
If it is not I am making another pixel-style game so I'll submit that.
you don't necessarily need to make a completely new game. You can change the resolution manually, and update the assets so they fit, like making a port of your own game. But be careful! 64*64 can limit quite a lot of things, and you need to think about what elements you need to change such that they fit
Wow, nice job! I just submitted my game for the Brackey's jam too. I love the pixel art and sounds!
Thank you! This took so long, the coding was easyish but the art is so hard -.-
:D
