It's a very fun game. I like the idea of limiting your sort of area by having a battery metre, gives the player the means to play the game so that they can go out further. The controls are really nice although I think it's a good idea to have not only the arrow keys to move but also using A and D because most games use that so it's just sort of common knowledge that WASD are your movement keys. I would definitely prioritise using WASD for movement rather than arrow keys. Overall though great game 👍
Yeah I did feel that it does become repetitive. Because I loved this jam so much I will be doing another one called "Devtober". You get 1 month to do anything you like, there is no theme, no focus, nothing. You can either start something new or work on a previous project. So for this year's devtober what I am going to be doing is polishing this game very much and adding a lot more gameplay to it. I will upload the new and improved version as a separate game and rename this one to clarify that it was the original version.
Here's a link to devtober if you're interested: https://itch.io/jam/devtober-2020
Hi, I did notice the mouse acting strange when it's on top of the ship, I have attempted to fix this but couldn't figure it out. I see what you mean about the upgrade prices not being very clear, I will do my best to fix these issues and add some more content in a future update. Thank you for letting me know.
Hi, I would really like to use this in my new game but when I import this into unity it makes the whole tileset a tile? I don't know if this is something you can fix or I fix but it happens so... Basically if I'm unclear what is happening is I am making a new tile palette and when I import the png file it makes that one tile instead of splitting it up correctly. Also it would be really handy if you can include a .aseprite file if you use aseprite.
