Nice responsive movement, hilarious flat earth, the 2 D pixel style is really nice. Really nice attention to detail on the cleaner itself and the Vimbucks a nice touch. Fun to play, and nice potential for more upgrades to add to the game, great stuff.

We have the vacuum cleaner theme both in common, if you could spare a few mins to play my game and provide feedback too that would be awesome.

Developer

Thank you for the very kind words. I did see a few games started to pop up with the vacuum cleaner idea. I will definitely go and play yours. Thank you 👍❤

The game is pretty well done, it becomes repetitive at one point, but still is super cool. Very good job for your first time game jam entry. Congrats!

Developer

Yeah I did feel that it does become repetitive. Because I loved this jam so much I will be doing another one called "Devtober". You get 1 month to do anything you like, there is no theme, no focus, nothing. You can either start something new or work on a previous project. So for this year's devtober what I am going to be doing is polishing this game very much and adding a lot more gameplay to it. I will upload the new and improved version as a separate game and rename this one to clarify that it was the original version.

Here's a link to devtober if you're interested: https://itch.io/jam/devtober-2020

A nice looking game you have made. With some controls improvements it can be relaxing. Also ...

Developer

It's so cool to have a meme about something I made. Also that's some pretty good skill at picking out my satellite texture. I do know the controls can be improved such as not making the ship vibrate when it moves.

The music is really good. I like the idea of the game and the style of the art. I hope you add more gameplay/levels/goals later.

A few tips:

The ship does act a bit strange when the mouse is right on top of it, I don't know if that is easy to fix.

The cost of the upgrades isn't very clear. It doubles, but sometimes you lose count and you don't know when you will be able to buy them again. Maybe you could show that inside the upgrade boxes.

Hi, I did notice the mouse acting strange when it's on top of the ship, I have attempted to fix this but couldn't figure it out. I see what you mean about the upgrade prices not being very clear, I will do my best to fix these issues and add some more content in a future update. Thank you for letting me know.
