Nice to hear! I'd gladly buy the steam version if it was moddable. I'd love to try my hand at making something sci-fi themed. I'm assuming you'd likely "externalize" all (or a majority) of the files into something like *.json or *.xml?

Why not try to "externalize" the game data files, like sprites, stats, mapgen, etc- essentially make it moddable and do some kind of openDev or community collaboration thing instead of fully open-sourcing it? That seems like it could work. Also, with Unity's new runtime fee thing, have you considered moving to another engine? There aren't many sci-fi roguelikes out there, so EFA has the potential to be something really truly special.

Hi! I'm basically looking to create a sci-fi horror total conversion mod, seeing that that particular "theme" is practically non-existent for roguelike games (with a few exceptions). Hi! This looks really nice! Bit of a weird question, but do you plan on adding mod support for this game?

1. I want to add some edited .TEMP files to the game, but I don't know how to. Particularly, the global data .brick file. Can you please help me out?

2. I wanna build/share some mods separately from my main mod collection. I tried adding "runtimefolder" to the flags.json but it didn't work.

I've made quite a lot of edits to your mod. Mainly by adding the ET "bricks" (and a few Escalation "bricks" as well). It works really great and is quite fun.

I'm still testing things out and polishing it a bit. Would you be interested in adding these edits to the main mod? I can send you the files. Do you have discord?

Also, I have a few suggestions/bug reports regarding this mod, but first and foremost, I must say that this mod is just too damn good! It's one of my must have mods. I'm honestly surprised it isn't getting the popularity and attention it so rightly deserves!

On to the suggestions/bug reports: -

1. When starting in a "disguise" location, like palace guard in Dubai, 47 does not start "blended in", but he is just standing there. This immediately makes the enforcers suspicious of you. Can you please remove that "broadcast signals" cutscene (if possible) and just drop 47 in? Or add a "check" to make sure 47 starts "blended in"?

2. Can you please add the seasonal/holiday maps to random targets?

3. Now, this is a crazy idea, but here me out. Would it be possible to have a "random number" of random targets? I personally feel 4 max is a bit too less. Of course, it'd have to be within reason, but it'd be so much fun to be given 8-25 targets to eliminate.
