Thank you for all the little story crumbs. Now I miss playing this game so much. It's mindblowing how many decisions this game has and I love that you never loose track of them, it is wonderful that this project just seems to get better with every chapter.

It is lovely to see a tale of crowns is growing and it looks like the next chapter will be an awesome experience!

Loved all the routes so far but never got a "high" romance with X... and now I am a little afraid to go back to my first crown. Guess I have to retry again, while this was my first route that I chose in my first playthrough actually R has a really special place in my heart and I look forward to read more of your wonderful story.

Have fun, stay healthy and thank you so much for this wonderful gem of art.

Yay and congratulations for the process! It's nice to see this game is still alive and growing. Loved all of the content so far a lot.

Question: "Quality" time with Aeran (whether this is a good thing or not depends on your approval levels, but I can promise that low approval routes are a treat) - so the ~1000hrs I spent replaying to finally get a savefile with a high approval with him was actually the wrong way to go romance wise? I am confused right now.

But looking forward to make a new run - will the old saves work when the episode  3 comes out?

Yay for all the process! Looking good so far and I am excited how this game will look finished. Have fun and take your time with it. :)

Loved the demo, looking forward to this game a lot. Have fun and take your time. I am sure it will be a really cool experience in the end. Thank you for the update!

Thank you for the reply. I didn't know about the problem the engine. Maybe you could add the info about how the saves work in the tutorial? At the start of the game when the save functions are pointed out maybe? I found a lot of other players with the same issue and maybe that problem could be easily prevented somehow. Thank you for this really nice experience, I did enjoy spending time with "Wayfarer" alot. :)

I just tried to reload a "Save to Disk" Save and... figured it doesn't work like I thought it would.

Maybe you could rephrase that button to "Alternate Safe" or "Manual Safe"? At the moment it totally seems like a backup option of the 6 save slots above.

And I just lost all of my progress because of that. ._.' That's over 60hrs playtime and 3 OCs lost. Now I'm really sad. I really wanted to try out diffrent story lines but I will not replay everything from the start.

Jonah Scotts brilliant voice acting brought me here. I loved how he brought August Willenheim to live in the game 'When the Night comes' and was so happy to find another gem like it. Is there any place where I can find more of his work? Thank you for this beautiful game and all the effort you put in it! Hope to see more of the Two and a Half Studio soon.

I do, too. Sadly, he sees himself as a part of Fritz come to live so I guess Varg would only be satisfied and 'whole' if Fritz choose to end the curse not by overthrowing him but by embracing that dark part of him. Can't say if that's possible but I like to imagine how it would have been. Varg has his own way to see things but I did think he was right with some things he said about Fritz. And I wasn't confident with the happy end, when Varg is nothing more but a whisper or a hint in Fritz' expression. He certainly deserved more than that. *sigh*

It's somehow sad but understandable why they choose to life the curse and ///SPOILER erase him, in order to give Fritz back to his princess. That's how a fairytale has to end. ;)

As for "Where's that power of love at, huh?" I guess our princess only loves Fritz and can't forgive Varg for his actions. He frees Fritz from the curse, or helps him fight against it. So the power of love is there, but it's only there to get rid of the 'bad side' of Fritz.

Strange thing is, it's much more complicated with Varg being so... special. In every other route, like the one from Rumpel, Varg isn't totally obedient - he is clever enough to act around direct orders he doesn't like. I like to belief that isn't Fritz showing through Varg, but Varg's very own personality and his way of showing his love for our character.

I guess I'll write a fanfic for him. Makes me sad, every time I think about how this arc ended. :,(

I am so happy I stumbled over your project on a friends tumblr site, so I just wanted to leave you some thoughts and happyness and some of my money, when I figure out how Paypal works here ;) until I throw myself back to your gem of a game. <3

I only played the routes from Rumpel, Karma and Fritz so far & just found your gameplay note on Steam which hinted that I should have started with Rod and I hope it's not too late to enjoy his route until I get to the last one. I thought it might be ok to follow the route in which the boys are shown ingame. That was a little perplexing.

First of all: I loved Rumpels route!

It was the first I played and from his looks I did expect him to be ... well not such a big flirt, I guess, but I'm so glad I gave him a chance - he made me laugh so much! And it was a nice surprise when I came to that scene where he carries us back to our room. Until then I wasn't sure what to think about him, in terms of a relationship. But then it all came down nicely. Even when I had the bad ending - I tried again with the indicator and I really didn't do that much of 'wrong' choices the first time (surely not up to 10) so I was a little baffled with that. Some of the choices seem much alike, and 'feel' very alike. It's cool you have the indicator ingame, but it would be great if a player could figure out on her own if she liked the reaction she caused or not. Some were very subtle (the first choice, where he calls you 'feisty' but nothing besides that line is diffrent; or the moment when he calls you clever because you would stab someone in the right place - I didn't think that knowledge would make him love me more to be honest xD ) or not there at all (the whole scene with Bria, when you choose to interrupt them or not, it makes absolutely no diffrence). But this is only me, and I did have fun exploring the route. I was only sad when the ending was so... yeah sad. But in a good way, you really made me feel I didn't want to loose him.

So from what I saw of the game everything was really well written and I loved the concept behind his story. Especially how you showed the concept of love (which you picked up in Karmas Route, too) which is not as easy as it looks. And then the concept of selflove, to spoil yourself from time to time - that was a very nice moral you hid there. And meeting Bria, and to deal with her was really amazing. It added a really nice touch to the story and felt very realistic. I like it, when you can learn to understand a characters motives if you just try to do that. Your game is very rewarding, if it comes to that.

And I do love him, Rumpel, as a character. Most because of those moments like when he's eavesdropping - seconds after our heroine did the same thing. I could connect to him and his problems very well, I had a much harder time doing that with Fritz and Karma. Maybe because they do have a habit of making themselves scarce.

As a last thing to say for now, maybe I just pick Rumpel over the others, because he had the only 'solid' name. Actually I did choose him for the first route because of that. :D The only thing I think you could do better imho are the very big names of some of the noble characters - I wonder if you could remember them yourself without taking a note. ;) But you gave all of them nice nicknames, so it's ok I guess. ;)

Thank you for this gem of a game! You have a really great Team and I look forward to anything you'll want to share with us in the days to come.

Same here. xD
