Welp, it's been long enough (last version played being 0.2.9.3b) that I might start from the beginning again. Glad to see the game still being worked on!

Yeah that's understandable, but I also get the impatience since it's been just about 9 months since the last public release.
How regular are the updates on Patreon? I might genuinely join it. I'd say I'm usually really patient with game updates to avoid spending money, but I genuinely really love this game and waiting 9 months for an update is crazy even for me.
I think multiplayer in NSFW games is a cool idea, but unfortunately very hard to implement not just programmatically, but also ethically, given that multiplayer even fits with the type of game in the first place.
I really hope this works out for you and you figure it out, because it sounds really fucking cool!
The latest version (0.3.2.02) can't be installed/updated through the itch.io desktop app. I usually experience it when the files are hosted on other websites like Mega or Google Drive, but not in this case, so I assume you did something wrong.
This is the error itch.io gives:
TypeError: Cannot read property 'build' of undefined
Holy crap! I've never seen or played such a well-crafted, well-designed, and overall well-made game!
The Story
Right off the bat you are inundated with questions! How is the puffer fish able to fly and fight off the shark? How did it obtain these powers? Where is it trying to go?
Well, my dear reader, all of these questions and more can be answered by playing through the game and searching thoroughly through all the levels! The storytelling in this game is second to none; the story is told through very subtle game design choices, in a way that intriguing questions are raised and you are rewarded for reading between the lines. Words alone cannot begin to express how well the storytelling is handled, just play and discover it for yourself!
The Graphics
Honestly, there isn't much to say here; the graphics are downright gorgeous, with incredible textures and incredibly satisfying water simulation, and the puffer fish sprite is absolutely adorable!
The Gameplay
You swim around, fight off a shark, fly up in the air, and so much more! The controls feel great and the mechanics really help to create total immersion within the game.
The Cons
Most games, whether triple A or indie, usually have at least 2-3 cons/negative parts, but this is neither a triple A or indie game, this isn't a standard game, no, in this game the only con is the lack of puffer fish. For this game to be truly PERFECT, there must be plenty of puffer fish! 10! 50! 100! The lack of puffer fish is the single thing holding this game back from being an international success.
Conclusion
If you're thinking of playing this game, stop thinking about it and do it. There is literally no reason to not play this game! I am convinced that once more puffer fish are added, the mainstream media will take notice, and it will become an international success and win an astonishing amount of prizes.
Pufferfish/Perfection, would play again without question.

Well then it's not just about software limitation. If we pretend there weren't any, would you still have made a sequel? If yes, then it's about money, and I would be okay with that if you had mentioned that was part of or fully the reason for making one; if not, we would still own the game and would get all future updates for free, and money would have nothing to do with it.
I'm not assuming that you're a bad person or anything like that, I'm just saying that if money was at least part of the reason for making a sequel and not just software limitations, then you should've mentioned it in addition to your other reasons.
Anyway, that's just my take. Good luck with the game!
Just came back to this a year after I last played it, and to see that to continue after day 14 you have to pay AGAIN is very disappointing. I understand software limitations can happen, but if I were to do something like this I would first figure out a way for people who already bought the game to receive it for free, such as obtaining proof of purchase and giving them a key to the second game, or at least find a way to compensate those who already own it. It just doesn't look good (imo) if you're not willing to do something like that.
Good luck with your game, but I personally won't be paying for it again.
