I enjoyed the aesthetic, but the message was much too over the top. Watch a movie about being a gentleman? Character is practically wearing a top hat and a monocle. See scooter? Buy scooter. I like the overall gist of the message but not a fan of how obvious it was.

There needs to be a better way to deliver plot exposition. The gameplay was: look around for a few seconds, click the mouse button, then proceed to sit and look at nothing for several minutes. Repeat. 

I enjoyed the art direction, and appreciate the voice acting, and I'm sure there's a plot in here that I'll like but it got so boring to play 

Intriguing premise. As this is made for a gamejam, I'm not sure where you would take this premise further but I like the world you built and would be excited to see a continuation of this project or one related in this same world. Cheers

Definitely. I had no clue there was an inventory XD

-Map is way too big. 95% of my time is holding W and after 10 minutes of basically nothing any immersion is lost

-Jump scare hoochie was fine herself but I felt it was unclear when to run away from scary lady vs when she's just popping in and out of existence. 

-This might be completely a personal issue, but booting up the game glitched out my second monitor. Not sure how you would replicate this bug but a heads up

Enjoyed the first one, this was no different. 

I seem to remember a little more morality or lesson to learn from the Twilight Zone episodes, whereas in this episode it's like the whole world ends because this guy was a good guy? Felt a little cynical

Surreal.

An absolute trip. Pretty remarkable for your first developed game tho

I had a crash in one of the level transitions, and the bass slamming my eardrums started to wear out it's welcome to the point that I turned the game audio basically off. I know that wasn't your intended direction but when there's EXTREME BASS NONSTOP NEVERENDING BAAAAAANG for more than 10-15 seconds it overtakes any experience you are creating and the player will try to get away from the sound, either by walking away from it or turning the sound off. Food for thought


Interesting premise. Fairly meh overall. 

-Was the generic looking baddies intentional?

-Why were there so many invisible walls?

I'll say that, as someone who didn't play Hayami Chan 1, the minute to minute gameplay is exceedingly drab. The premise itself was curious enough, and I feel the FNAF inspiration, but it was the main gameplay loop that was boring. The nightmare sequences were curious (I would have liked more stuff to do), the story was done well enough, and I adore the art direction. But man just holding down the mouse button to do paperwork until the 'stress' meter rose to a certain amount was a drag.

Hopefully don't take this the wrong way, just some feedback from my run, but the statue made me rage quit


-The scale of the map is a tad large for the amount of exploration. An increase of player speed or scale down of the map would help

-First person platforming? no thanks

-We could use a brightness setting or a glowier torch, the dark darks made it rough to see in the maze

-Puzzles and solutions could use a little more clarity and contextual clues

-The statue hoochie is too unforgiving. I she killed shot me and several others below and it seems maybe a location reset might be gentler, as well as a patch for her 'look at me' mechanic

Some complaints:

-Background sound is WAY TOO LOUD

-The seizure inducing flashing lights are a bit much

-The stair controls are a mess. I saw some other playthroughs below having the same issue, it feels like an elevator system or some other traversal mechanic other than holding down arrow keys in a wasd game would be more beneficial

-Some of the dialogue alpha settings seemed too low. The subtitles were occasionally too low

An interesting game premise nonetheless, I had some fun in it :)

Awesome! And depressing...this game caught me with so many feelings


I fell asleep. 

Biggest issue was the monster spawn directly in front of me during a chase scene with limited continues, but I enjoyed the experience overall :)

I loved the gameplay element! It was scary until you see the funny faces of the guys hunting you down lol


Interesting demo :) I hope you go more into the 'is this real?' aspect of it in the full release, thats my fav

Awesome game.  A little confused as far as the story is concerned, but gameplay was divine


Interesting approach, felt a little unfocused. The story said it was about identity, race, and nationality, yet in my 45 minute playthrough it touched more on the Inception/To The Moon idea of jumping into dreams/consciousness..

Perhaps further in the game it continues to dive into these topics?


Figured I would play this after playing Urbex :3

Ohhhh thats right. I was more hoping for a dodge button because the targeting wasn't helping when the mushroom men attacked at the same time 0.o

Interesting game...I got a lot of LoZ:BotW vibes. And the boss was too hard for me D:

Incredible experience. Bummer that it is an instant copyright strike but you're ability to wield melancholic feelings was masterful


Great demo! Ran into a few bugs, but overall a good experience. Looking forward to the full release :D

Gave it a go! my major issue was I needed more explanation of gameplay elements (didn't understand upgrade system in the slightest, powerups, or the generator)

Other than that it's a good start and I had fun :)
