Hi, thank you very much for the feedback, much appreciated. The game ended up in a less than desirable state and we debated not posting it at all but it become more about finishing something we set out to do. I have never actually finished any game project in the past and I joined the jam purely for the reason of actually trying to get something done. (Whilst I wouldn't exactly call this finished, I at least saw it to the end)
In hindsight I think we tried to do way to much and ended up trying to refine a very small set of features right at the last min with a bunch of bugs due to all sorts of systems I had tried to code in. had also realised near the end there were no instructions for the player in how to play the game. Again really appreciate the feedback it brings me joy knowing someone played it and had some fun and didn't want to bash it haha :) The jam taught me a lot and the number 1 thing for next time would be to not think to big, it's better to have 1 thing work really well than 20 different things kinda working, and always try to keep the game in as much of a playable state as possible!!
