Thanks! I have good news too: Version 1.0.0 is out, check the dev log :)

Thanks for the feedback. It's really not that hard tho, one of the pieces is already solved so you can use that as a pivot (as you can see in the video).

It cannot be a normal slide puzzle because the images (the pixel art pieces) come in very different resolutions and you need to drag them around, that's the whole point and more than 1 actually liked this functionality. Also, many of the pieces are not too puzzle-friendly, there's areas of flat colors that would create identical tiles (so the dragging is a solution to that).

"I love the vibe of, like, bootleg snes porn games, or old Japanese pc-98 stuff. "

Bingo!

Sorry for the late response. That is inside the rules, yeah.

Hi there people, I have updated the game and now it works on Android! Please let me know what you think (you can check the Dev Log for more details).

That is correct, most of the art you see in the community pack was added a few days before the jam. And thanks for the feedback!

Hey there, thanks for he feedback. About being able to "cheat" by grabbing a particularly distinct part of the puzzle and dragging it around: that is kind of the point hehe. The idea here is, after trying many times a puzzle and getting familiar with the solved piece, you should be able to tell pieces apart from each other more easily so you don't have to use only one piece as a "pivot" to solve the whole thing. So this is kind of a speed run puzzle game (I guess?)

Aside from that, I have some good news : This is now working on Android and I'll release the APK today or tomorrow :) (along with some other updates)

Thanks for the feedback! That's right, by dragging the puzzle, there's shouldn't be issues with "identical" tiles. I wonder if some of the feedback below was because they weren't moving the puzzle 🤔

In any case, for anyone wondering: the controls are clearly shown in the game page and I'm currently working on even simpler ones (left mouse click for everything)

This should not be an issue if you drag the puzzle with right click. That said, it's now 3 users pointing that out so I think I'll try to come up with solution!

Hi there. Thanks for the feedback! Identical tiles should no be a problem tho, if you drag the puzzle with right click you can easily distinguish those. Moving the puzzle around is the most important thing  to solve it :)

Here's a small sample of the new pieces that were added (click on the image to get the high-res)

Hi there. Did you install Love2D? (It's in the installation instructions). *.love files need the Love2D framework to run.

Alright, it should be fine now, thanks again!

Shoot! thanks for the heads up, I'll fix it in a few minutes.

Awesome, thanks for letting me know!

Thanks for reporting this! I've patched the game and updated the binaries, can you please try again. It should be ok now :)

I like what I see!

Hi there! Have you tried sharing them on the community? twitter? There's also a subreddit. In any case, good luck with that!

You'll get there :)

This is great! I don't know much about 3D but I'll definitely look into this in the future.

I'm glad you like it! I'm hoping to upload a few more games in the next couple of years, right now it's just 2.

Nice concept!
