Got mine emailed already, thanks Super Walrus!
Super generous :D
Around about the time I entered the other room with the fake tree and the rest of the character introductions, I noticed the F1/Start button on controller menu refused to open anymore. Was thinking maybe it just wasn't going to let me save in that scene so I carried on.
Now I'm into the first 'murder investigation' phase and it's still not working. I tried to disconnect my controller and go back to K+M controls but now there's zero input at all. When turning the controller back on there's still nothing, so now my game is completely soft locked :/
Think I saved a good 40 minutes ago too. 馃槬
EDIT: Is there a way to super fast foward through text like in other VN's? Having to mash click through all of these again as I load my old save is giving me carpal tunnel 馃槄
EDIT2: Ok thankfully we can hold down escape or a controller button to fast-skip. From what I can tell after reloading and replaying these scenes about 4 times now is that the game doesn't like a controller, specifically in that part of the game. Worked fine up until now but my Save menu broke every time unless I was just playing using K+M controls. So I guess I'll stick to that unless a dev response or patch comes about :/
Hello, ever since picking up that big 1000+ games charity bundle I've been more and more checking out cool indie projects on itch and do like supporting the devs directly if possible; but I'm not going to lie I still do prefer having my entire library in one place rather than spread out across multiple clients + the added bells and whistles that steam provides is always nice.
A lot of games on itch seem to provide one with the purchase but I couldn't see a similar listing here.
Thanks
Oh, so we do have to flip through every page and spam that script that they originally told us not to do?
Fairly annoying, I know I shouldn't be complaining; looking a gift horse in the mouth and choosy beggar and all considering the amount of content we got but it's still pretty unintuitive and a bit clunky to claim everything compared to any other platform/bundle where purchasing = ownership.
Best get spamming then..
Cool writeup. Not surprising new Xcom is most popular.
As much as I'm not a fan of the way it was rebooted (and the way that it pretty much established the '2 action point system' as being the new norm that is constantly used these days; no offense..) I do have to respect it for bringing the genre back into the mainstream after it pretty much died off into a niche thing.
Oh and thanks for the key! Guess I was one of the lucky ~6~ Aussies there :P
"Yes, we ran out of money to pay rent in 2014."
That's it? No excuses or elaboration on the arrogant, immature, downright abhorrent behaviour you engaged in?
No apologies for the general 'We got your money, F*** you' attitude and the literal verbatim "10/10 Would squat again" comment you left on the Kickstarter..? A more heartfelt and detailed response is needed here guys..
You kind of shat all over your reputation and credibility, and gave yourselves the muddiest and worst name in recent game development history. Simply appearing on itch out of the blue several years later and expecting everything to be hunky dory isn't going to cut it.
Wait, what the hell?
I thought these guys were some scammers who squatted in some apartment or something.
The email I got just now that linked me to here really threw me for a loop because it implies that this is actually still alive and/or development was taken over by an actual competent team at some point..? I'm terribly confused, and more proper, transparent news needs to be forthcoming.
I mean, If I *can* eventually get a game out of this lemon that I backed on Kickstarter years ago then all the better I suppose, but at the moment this seems very suspect without a proper FAQ and run-down of what this actually means.
