😭😭😭

Also, question. How long did this take you? Or did you just edit your save?

I thought allowing this was a mistake.

I'm starting to think otherwise.

THANK YOU FOR PLAYING!!!

OMG YOU FOUND MY GAME!!!

Thank you for the juicy criticisms. One of the struggles I'm facing at the moment is balancing the game, so your thoughts on the contrast between levels 1 and 2 are gonna come in VERY handy. I'll be making the stat increases less steep in the upcoming update.

As for combat and movement speed, I did get feedback about that from other play testers. I'm gonna try implement more features to speed things up. Should help accelerate my own play tests too haha.

The 0 HP bug. If it's not too much effort, could you send a screenshot of the stats and buffs of the attacking idol and the target enemy?

Once again thank you so much for checking out my game. :D

I can't believe you gave her the monkey noises. I love it.

I forgot how bad I was at the original Mario. The attention to detail on the movement and visuals is wild. Awesome throwback and fan game.

The idol inspector shows their base stats. But I think I'll change it to show the current value to avoid confusion. If you attack after using Red a, it should still deal more damage.

Also thanks for playing GHAOOOO :D

It was too buggy and not mobile-friendly, so we took it down temporarily.

Woah, that's really helpful. Drop a link to the channel, man!

I'll check it out.

YESSS!!! I love how it looks, how it sounds and how it plays. I'm getting Dia de Muertos vibes from the visuals which is a huge plus in my book. Also, the concept is so simple but it makes you think. That's awesome!

Audio is loud but I like destroying my friends with an RC duck-bomb.

I think someone needed her help and gave her a call. But because Echo didn't pick up it was their last call. Maybe they were being threatened by external forces. Maybe they were suicidal. Bottom line is that Echo didn't know how important that call was and decided not to pick up. Now she feels guilty for it. That's what I think. Again, I wanna say awesome game. The sound direction made it feel super immersive.

This rooooocks!!! I love it... What did Echo do!?

Victory!

It was intriguing when the third island appeared. It felt like a moment of discovery. My only complaint is the music. I just don't like it. Besides that, the game was fun and felt sufficiently rewarding.

I really like the idea of setting up my units' AI and unleashing them onto a bunch of mobs but the execution is lacking. I accidentally deleted the top weighted action and I couldn't bring it back so, my unit could only pass the turn. Also, there could have been more in terms of visual and audio feedback. Like a sound effect each turn to represent the different actions.

Also, it's easy to win with the default set-up. It might have been more interesting to have to figure out a good set-up on my own.

Like pastaboy said, more interesting than fun to play.

2nd attempt^

I love the look of the game.

The game's controls are tight but I'm not a big fan of how the glitches are randomised. It can be frustrating when the glitch you need to complete the level doesn't activate. Felt like it came down to luck that I completed the level at all which leaves me feeling dissatisfied.

Instead of making the glitches randomised, I think it would have been better to have the loadout of glitches planned for each level. Then, I would have to be careful about when to cycle to another glitch because I might still need the current glitch to make progress. Hope what I wrote makes sense. Fortunately, this randomised glitch issue only came up on a couple of levels.

Good luck this gj!

It was fun to play. Knocking the astronaut around and gunning down asteroids is satisfying. But I wish there was more purpose to destroying asteroids besides preserving HP and creating space. I was expecting power-ups to spawn from breaking them at first.

Also, the power-ups that do spawn stick to the right side of the screen where the obstacles and enemies spawn. It was pretty stress-inducing to collect power-ups because there was a risk of hitting something I couldn't see. I had to rely on luck each time I went in for a heal.

The game looks nice. I just like cartoony visuals.

Overall, it was a fun, short game that kept me on my toes.
