I just kept fishing until the water turned red, and then I tried fishing some more and it bricked my pc for a bit until I had to open task manager to close the game. I don't know if this is just an issue with the game, or if I just fished to God damn hard. Other than that, amazing 10/10 would fish again

this was really good, for your first game with c# you did an awesome job!

yes, the story is slightly inspired by the concept of The Lighthouse. I also used some images of The Lighthouse as references on how to make the atmosphere of the game. It's one of my favorite movies and I've always loved the setting of a foggy lighthouse island so the movie acted as a good point of reference on how to make everything look

Kieran stop harassing people who played my game

Thanks! Whenever I get people trying to bring me down for making a game they didn't like, I try not to be too rude to them, I'll either just be really passive-aggressive or I just give them some subtle sarcasm or something

Thanks for the feedback! Though, I don't see where you're coming from with the "I would rethink what I doing with my life" thing. This is just a hobby of mine, everyone has their own hobbies y'know? My hobby is making short ps1-styled games, and your hobby is being angry at small indie game developers! I appreciate you taking time out of your day to write a lovely comment about my game, and I hope these issues are resolved in my next project, have a nice day bud 👍

thanks for the feedback, and yeah the game's way too short, I was more trying to test what I can do with the atmosphere of a Lighthouse island setting, but I appreciate the criticism and will try to fix these issues in my next project.

Are you using windows or mac? I unfortunately haven't been able to port to mac yet but I'll try my best to do so

I absolutely loved the atmosphere with this one, and while I wish this had a bit more to it, I still really enjoyed exploring around the area. I look forward to seeing more atmospheric games such as this one, good work!

I just used the free version of unity

Whenever you see the building, run to the right of it :)

the controls are great, and I absolutely love the graphics. very nice!

here it is

Thank you! I completely agree with your issue with the minigames, they would've been much better if I didn't just use the same template over and over again, but I didn't know how I was going to do that, as this was my first 3D game in unity, but I'm glad you enjoyed it
