yep!

hello, I'm a 2d artist/animator/ illustrator. Id love to partner with a programmer and see what we can make! Feel free to check out my work at https://sugarbeetle.com/

hello, I'm a 2d handrawn artist who uses Godot for game development. I'm trying to improve my coding abilities but they're still quite limited. Id love to team up with someone interested in handrawn 2d games or generally just intersted in cozy stuff like shop or farming sims. I have loads of ideas but I want a partner who is ok with discussing and developing ideas together.

Feel free to check out my portfolio at https://sugarbeetle.com/

also you can dm me discuss further on discord at SugarBeetle #6815

Thanks!

really nice atmosphere! I love the art and game design.

adorable and cozy!

really cute art and comfy premise! I loved the variety in the mechanics. You can really feel the thought that went into the gameplay.

Hello, I'm looking for a game dev partner, I can do all of the art if you do the coding. I want to work on cute little games and maybe branch out into something bigger if we work well together, heres my portfolio https://sugarbeetle.com/  Feel free to message me on discord if you want also, SugarBeetle #6815

Lets make a cute game about little stuff in a big world.

I'm an illustrator who loves nature, stylisation and serious stuff communicated via cute characters. Feel free to check out my portfolio https://sugarbeetle.com/

I tend to work fast and want to make cool comfy stuff. I'll do all the art in the team if you want! I've done a lot of short jams lately so it'll be fun to have more time.

We can think up the game idea together but as a base idea I thought a sustainable foraging game might be fun to do ( search different areas to find different stuff, only take limited resources so stuff can regrow, cook and craft things for woodland creatures and help diversity the environment).

Anyone who wants to collab with me feel free to email or message me on discord at SugarBeetle#6815

I hope everyone has fun in the jam!

thank you!

And nah thats how I coded it in the end. Sorry I forgot to take the rock, wood and vine stuff away

thank you so much!

heyo, I'm planning on making a simple frog narrative story with renpy. The story will be based around a frog flying around space in search of water to store the tadpoles (as their ship is running out), but before finding a planet to land on you're hit by a meteor. Scattering frog fren and all their tadpole pals across an unknown planet.

Its intended to be a cute game about the tadpoles experiencing things aside from just being protected. I'm planning to do all the coding, art, ui etc. If anyone wants to join to help with the music feel free to post! Music peps can have free range but id prefer something naturey and comfy and also sad at times.

hello, I wanted to ask about how everyone goes about generating concepts and ideas for games. I just finished my 3 year illustration course and want to begin working on game jams. My main problem is that my development process is very chaotic, does anyone have some resources they use to store and document their idea? Like trello, milanote etc or just some good game jam idea exercises to help narrow down your idea?

After spending the first week trying to decide what theme, art style and story I wanted to create I decided to go with a short 2d platformer about a ghost exploring what happens to them After they die. I'm disappointed the game is so simple and basically a walking sim but id prefer just to create something finished rather than polish forever.

testing player animations made yesterday, also putting the base code in.

a 3 week uni project based around creating a short solo platformer. I decided to go with the simple theme of a forest spirit/plant person rescuing young mushroom kids. I intend the game to be fully coloured and animated with a short and simple story. I wanted to make a thread just to track the development and get feedback.

Closed, thank you!

Hello! I'm an illustrator who likes to draw cute creatures and plants. I only do standard 2d art not pixel and prefer to work with cute themes juxtaposed with darker plots. Heres a link to my portfolio https://sugarbeetle.com/

Name: Sugar

Pronouns: she/her

Dev expertise (or what you're interested in learning!): I adore character design, making stories and plots based around interesting themes. I've always wanted to make a game but I'm awful at programming so its never worked out.

Favorite games/media: I adore a lot of games from different genres, such as darkwood, cavestory, steam world dig, ni no kuni, deadstate, inscryption and many more. I enjoy interesting gameplay elements as well as experimental visual language. I also have a soft spot for survival horrors but I don't think my work can be horror related

Introduction/Tell us about you: I'm a 21 year old illustration student in my last year and before I begin my career in the industry I want to explore things I've always wanted to do but have been too pessimistic to attempt. I like plants, cute stuff and cute scary stuff.

I'm looking for a team so feel free to dm me if you'd be interested in working together!
