It doesn't?

It is an exe file that a lot of people haven't downloaded, due to which the antivirus flags it. Its a common problem for python executables.

yea

Thanks!

I have updated it since that post. It is much more complete now.

I am pretty sure the antivirus is the problem. Since this is an exe file that not many have downloaded, the antivirus probably doesnt recognise it, deems it as a virus and removes it.
Oh well... maybe in the future it will work...

Umm thats weird...
Maybe your antivirus is removing it?
Try downloading it again

Thank you!

True... totally forgot about that 😅

Thanks for downloading!

Hello!

I published this game a few days ago and would like to hear some valuable feedback from you all! This app convert your desktop screen to series of platforms, which you can manoeuvre your character onto. This means you can run and jump on the text and icons on your screen!

To be honest, it is more of an "experiment" than a game, that is why I need to know if it works properly on all systems. It would really be helpful if you guys can comment and state whether it is able to properly detect the platform boundaries and if there are any glitches. It is also quite minimalistic, so please do share any features you want to see!

Thanks!

Hi, my new game has not been indexed yet even after 12 days. It has also taken this long with my other games. I have noticed that indexing takes much longer in recent days than before. I have read the docs but I want a more updated estimate of how long it can take for a normal free game - it will clear up a lot of things :)

Thanks

Sqrl: The Desktop Squirrel

https://sumanto.itch.io/sqrl

Feeling lonely or bored?

Ever wished for a little virtual companion or pet to be at your side while you work on your digital tasks?

Well look no further! Sqrl is cute little desktop pet who will hang out on your taskbar while you go on with your daily antics.

Sqrl is a passive pet and does not require much attention. He will run around on your taskbar while you go about your business.

Whenever you feel like it, you can drag him around and have some fun!

Be sure to feed him from time to time by right clicking the squirrel.

To get rid of the Sqrl, you must kill it, either by starving him or by dropping him to his death - but only a monster would do that...

Thanks

Hi, Can you please check why both of my games have not been index yet? Its been 15 days since they have been published/updated

Yes I know that but at least the other one should have been indexed by now. Also Sqrl was published 4 days ago - I had just made a minor edit to the description 2 days ago. Thanks anyways.

Hello,

I had recently published and updated two games a few days ago, but neither of them show up when I search for their title or look through newest releases. I have a very small social media following, so I depend on players to discover my games through Itch. How long will the indexing take?
I have read the docs, but its been quite a few days - almost a week since I published the games...

Clever game! Got 1:15 on my third run :)

LOL

Thank you so much! I was planning to add WAY more features to it but life happened... Maybe in a few months. But thanks anyways for downloading Sqrl!

w-w-why would it be?

To get rid of the Sqrl, right click on it and click "Exit." [OLD]
