You can tell whoever made this knows what they are doing. The art is great, the music, the effects, and the polish all make for a great little game with historical charm. Thank you for this enjoyable experience!

I can see the thought process behind "We are making a sort of platformer, but there is no platforming." Then "Just make the chimneys on the roof doors and they need to get up to enter buildings." Funny twist on the theme by making the hero dress as other NPCs to service NPCs.
The game broke on me after the first son failed me. Consider making the next build a webGL so you don't have to download and unpack files. Maybe a volume slider, and an exit hotkey?
Neat game with well thought out design that would be interesting with a bit more polish. Great job on this for only 48 hours!
Also cool art style that almost harkens back to the CDI era.
Interesting and creative, the art style is cohesive. My only suggestion is to maybe have a dedicated music and SFX guy, if you don't already. If this had a sound for jumping, bouncing off walls, progressing, pausing, and less repetitive music it would feel much more polished.
Great friggen job for 48 hours. A very intuitive and playable game. Skill could be ramped up, but I understand how hard that is in a 48 hour jam.
