The world building and story telling you've accomplished is fantastic!

The combat seemed a little too easy, it seemed like I wasn't being attacked. I was a child though so I guess there are laws against that haha.

Loved the voice acting and cinematics too. Very well done!

Absolutely. I have a few ideas to make the game feel a bit more urgent which I just couldn't get to. Was too busy wrapping my head around animations and state machines.

The look and feel was superb. Love the square 60's style aesthetic.

Fantastic polish.

Gameplay wise I was a little unsure why my character was flashing when didn't take damage and it seemed like the controls swapped without warning, maybe that was the reason but it wasn't enough to make sense to me. If that makes sense.

I hope my feedback wasn't too harsh, just had to be honest. But getting a fun, working game up is achievement enough buddy ^^

It looks great, I just think you have your jump wired a bit incorrectly. This is from my limited 2d experience but I think you have your ground check ray casts too close to the edge of the sprite? Like I was standing next to a platform but I couldn't jump on to. Space did nothing.

I could be wrong, but hey

The difficulty curve was quite steep, not going to lie. And decelerating was damn near impossible so I couldn't even read the info popups.

Really great art and music.

A few notes:

-    I wasn't sure what I should be doing next, maybe a little task display would be nice

-    The parents sped up like mad people which was a little funny and tricky, luckily the punishment          isn't  that bad

- Walking through doors was trickier than it should be
