This is how patreon works guys. You pay for stuff with no guarantee for any content. Do your google research before subscribing and if everything they post is behind a patreon paywall, be very skeptical. It's not a scam, it's just a platform that gives the content creator the control over how they market content (free vs. paywall) to entice customers to subscribe. Obviously, the creator will not sustain subscribers if the content is not updated regularly. There are ways around patreon paywalls in some cases to see some content (patreon creators have started using discord to prevent downloadable content leaking out). This will help you decide and there are websites in addition to itch.io you can download most games like this for free then decide to reward the creator by subscribing later. I basically give up on any patreon that hides everything behind a paywall though. It's usually a good indicator that you aren't going to get value worth your money, especially when there is like 1 post a month at best. In many cases you have to subcribe on patreon to see content on discord, but again there is no guarantee that discord will have content worth the price of admission and worse yet, there is no preview into the discord content and it's security is top notch (patreon you can at least see post frequency without subbing). Discord helps protect the content creator's content, but it is an even tighter paywall that prevents you from getting idea of what value you get for your money. I simply just scout the websites that post new game updates daily and download the ones I want. If I really like a game, I'll sub for a month on patreon, see what they offer on patreon and discord and cancel until the next update. This gives me the power to reward $$$ where I see fit rather than feel scammed by a system that in no way rewards the customer. I'm not sure how Komisari sustain's his patreon memberships, so perhaps there is something worth seeing on discord and he has an active community, or they are fake sub accounts to make it seem like he is active to entice more subs. Either way, this line of work is tough for creators to make a living so they get very creative on how to get and keep subs. I personally do not like discord because I don't care about finding a "community" especially for my vices. I consume content and move on to the next. I'm just glad that the algorithm has finally filtered out HHG as "New and Popular". These alogrithms are crucial to keeping a game relevant over the long term. Still one of the best quality games out there, but definitely in a sad state of affairs.

Ever since the final game was release well over a year ago, it's gone dark. There are monthly "Reports" all behind the patreon paywall. A lot of creators do this once the game is done. They create a monthly paywall with monthly "updates"making it seem like there is more content (maybe some wallpapers etc) when in fact they have moved onto another project more than likely under a different patreon. Milk the old game while the new game is under a new alias.
so no arena exists in this build so you can't even get past the prologue. Chat bugs out with 3 option with Vaness Lacroix and when you try to end chat with Anastasia Romanova. Game locks you into the screen and you can;t escape without quitting and restarting from last save. gg, this game is hard broken.
This IS 100% A DEAD GAME. Last update 9 months ago. Developers will never admit to a game being dead because they have nothing to gain and everything to lose by telling you. They want to milk patreon subs as much as they can and it would prevent getting new players and payers for the game. Don't get me wrong, this game has great quality as did RBL1 and I'm not a hater of the games and quite the opposite.
At the end of progress for the girls it clearly states Wait for Reboot Love Part 3...I recommend playing the game for free and sub to support and reward them for the content and then move on. I always hated the patreon sub platform because you sub with no guarantee for content worth the money and I see this pattern with pretty much every game I invest time and money into. All of these games eventually come to a screeching halt either because the game size is too big or too diffuclt to add content with the existing systems or sinply life happens. They may even move on to entirely different games on an entirely different patreon which can double their subscribers by enticing you to stay subscribed to multiple patreons. I commend them for at least having RBL1 RBL2 and Genex tied to one account but they likely learned that they can make more money having multiple patreons.
For those claiming this isn't a dead game, please explain how this game had routine updates almost monthly to having nothing for 9 months. Please show proof that development is happening because I see none since the last update 9 months ago.
This game has lots of bugs. Aimlessly wandering arounding trying to figure out what to do. Unlocking map features with $$$ helps but takes a while to earn enough money to do this. Girls showing in locations with "!" but already completed. Akeny not showing up in Occult Club when the map shows she is there. Unable to progress Mom's massage parlor story so the story comes to a screeching halt. Unable to unlock house because of this as well. Game is really jankey and pretty much no content worth playing it. Images are decent but that's about all this game has going for it. Game also randomly crashes with no indication what happened.
This is a Dead game and has been for about 3 years. The last *update* was a year ago with no new added content. The sneak peeks for v1.3 start 3 years ago based on the posts. This is sad to see because it really was great and looked to have a promising future. I honestly think something happened either the game size limit is reached or the developer moved on to something else but continues to lead us on that new content is coming to milk as many patreon memberships for this game. It's now just marketing to fool people into buying something with no new content and is false advertising. Be warned, and don't buy into the patreon. It's just lies and more lies recycling posts to make it seem like new content is coming. Unfortunately most games suffer by not getting enough patreon subs to continue game development and even admit to that. All that does is kill their existing patreon memberships and they are forced to start a new game under a new pstreon. Komisari is using clever strategies to make you think he's updating the game when the reality is that he is not. By all means support the patreon if you liked the content but don't expect anything new.
I enjoyed the game thusfar but the slave and love path design is frustrating. Perhaps this is by design so people will continue to pay the patron monthly fee for cheats. I would prefer a way without paying for cheats to undo the slave and love path points so we don't have to restart the game everytime there is an update to unlock the other path we did not choose.
