Yep we made the music

I love this game! It's a very cozy game. Here are a few suggestions though. I think it would be cool if the button text was full black and changed to white when you click. The button hover state is also a little gray. Not an actual issue but just a detail to help tie it together. I would also really prefer if the jump height wasn't tied to the movement speed. Great job with this!

I love the art and music, but I have a hard time seeing the difference between the people and sometimes got frustrated when I picked incorrectly. It may be that I am too far zoomed out.

Yeah I'll admit that I didn't spend too much time on the level design. However with some practice it is possible to hit every booster without slowing down.

I recommend making the character stop a little faster and increasing the width of the ladders to make movement a bit easier, and also making the UI aligned better at the end of the game. Overall I actually enjoyed playing it a lot.

I love the creepy vibes! The gameplay was a little slow so it would have been cool if the fish moved, but I totally understand with only having 3 hours. Having to time the camera just right is cool.

Your phone is less than 10%, better hurry and charge it!

I got a 14.75 14.73 14.58

Thanks for the feedback! Right now the fuel is different based on the needs of each level, but it could be good to more clearly show the scale of fuel another way.

You're right we didn't explain that well! Thank you for the feedback. I'll edit the description to include that.

Thank you!

I felt the hitboxes were to big around the spikes. Other than that I found myself really enjoying it. The menu between levels looks really good!

I really enjoyed this! I think the splitting mechanic is cool, but I also find it unintuitive, and I never know how it's going to split. I also love the audio.

I like the idea! Once I figured out how to recombine it made a lot more sense. I also like the screen warping. The game had some performance issues which hurt my enjoyment. I also think it would be more fun if the player was a bit slower, as it is a little hard to control (maybe they speed up when split?) Nice job overall! I know it's hard to get things done in 3 hours.

A score around 500 is pretty decent

Have an idea to improve the asset? Post it here!

I really enjoyed this game! I got a little bored in the beginning before I got the hang of things, but after that it was great. The art, music, and gameplay are all good. I'm a little bitter though after TreeBoss killed me.

Feedback:

  • I didn't realize I was getting items at first. Maybe add a summary of the items you get after a battle?
  • My characters never got to full health after the first fight. Maybe I just didn't know how, but it would be nice to be able to use the heal ability between rounds.
  • There was a lot of text in the beginning that I didn't want to read since I just wanted to play the game. Maybe in the future you could slowly introduce mechanics, mixed with gameplay.
  • There is a bug where when you take poison damage your health doesn't update on the left image, but the hover menu on the right has the updated health.

The jumping mechanics are really strange, but it's definitely something I could adjust to. Challenging but fun.

You should add an offline option to the menu, since right now it only appears if you don't have internet. I don't think I should have to go to airplane mode to not have to sign in.

I really enjoyed that! The graphics are simple yet so nice. It controls really nicely too. The title screen music sounds great, but it's a very different mood from level music. Both moods fit the game well though. The level music got a little repetitive after a while, since it's only about 4 measures, so making it longer would be cool.

One thing I would love is an option to turn on a timer. That would add a lot of replayability. Great job overall, especially for 2 weeks!

That's actually an intended feature. You can push people when they are in their new seeker cooldown, so if you spawn next to someone you can push them in one direction and run the opposite way.

Thank you for letting me know! I have updated the game to fix those bugs, plus a few more. I hope you'll give it another try.

I definitely don't recommend trying to play with one hand. Try splitting it three and two

Such a great take on the theme. Truly a beautiful experience. I think you nailed the importance of making a game that players can relate with.

It took me a little bit to figure out that I could jump multiple times. Once I did I enjoyed it. Is the flag the end of the game?

I like the concept, but I felt like I just had to try my best and hope for good swatter RNG, since sometimes it can hit with no warning.

This game is fun, but it gives me anxiety

Thank you! I agree it's harder than I meant to make it, and I'll probably adjust the difficulty in the future. It took me a while to get used to how the weird rhythms feel, then it got easier.

It took me a while to figure out how to play, and the controls are a little janky, but once I figured it out this was really fun to play. I got 9 points

Hey everyone! I just released my first game, Jungle Jangle. It's a LAN multiplayer game where players gather resources to craft traps and weapons, while the hiders keep away from the seekers. I spent just over a year on the project, spending a lot of time learning networking, and I'm very excited to see it out in the wild.

The game is available on Windows, and it includes an optional server file. It should be up on the Google Play Store in a day or two, and I'll add a link to the page when it does.

 Jungle Jangle

Take a look and I hope you enjoy!

This is my first public release, and I'm learning a lot - especially with networking. I'd love to hear constructive feedback on how the game could be improved or any other suggestions.

Welcome to the Jungle Jangle bug report thread.

Jungles are full of bugs, and I have no doubt this one is the same. Please respond to this thread with any bugs you find, along with steps on how to reproduce it.
