In my opinion, this game should have won this jam. It not only presents a good theme and background, but it's also very creative in how it implements it. The funny walk animation, the mechanics for grabbing candy, the story, it fits so well.

The walk and gameplay felt all really smooth, moving the bag around had some smoothing or delay which made it kida hard to catch the treats, as it should.

My only improvement would be to work on the art a little, since some objects look blurry or in different resolutions.

Overall, this was my pick for winner, kudos to the developer!

Hello Shadow! thank you so much for your feedback, it means a lot!

Who knows, maybe I'll update it one day with your suggesitons :D might be a fun challenge, since I didnt have much time to work on it on this Jam. Talking about that, do you know why my game appears to not be rated? This is my first game jam and I dunno if I did something wrong. Also I was either banned or kicked from the discord because I cant find it anymore, and the link in the jam's page doesnt work. Idk, pretty wack.

I totally understand, don't stress it. I also work on my games in my free time so I know what it's like. If you manage to fix it, feel free to respond to this comment or post in my account so I can come back and give it another try; I wish you the best of luck!

Hi! I tried your game but I think im doing something wrong. Im not seeing any text with the story or anything similar. I can only move around and sometimes the balloons and plant will play an animation but apart from that not much is going on. Nevertheless the art is very pretty and the controls feel nice, but please let me know if im doing anything wrong so I can enjoy your game.

Thanks for your analysis! I'm happy to know someone actually took the time to download and try my first game, even if it was so extremely simple.

You're right about the story, I had an idea in mind but I wasn't able to implement it because I had a trip coming up and had to finish the core mechanics, but I'll do better in my next jam :>

Im not home right now but when I get back I'll be sure to give your submission a try; cheers, GamExplorer!
