A decent game that is enjoyable up until the last portion where I had to grind 20 minutes just to be able to get decent moves and fight the final boss. Other than that I had no giant problems. The story was short but lacked direction with both characters and plot.

  • Pros
    • Good use of the default RPG Maker Assets.
    • Little to no bugs.
    • Very balanced battles, not one battle was unfair.
    • No need to grind except for the final battle.
    • The puzzles where fun but in the last one you could soft lock yourself if failed.
  • Cons
    • The characters, story and plot was lacking. I thought you would do something more with them but nothing happened. You could have easily had no dialogue and nothing would have changed.
    • Intelligible but was hard to read at times due to grammar mistakes.
    • No custom skills that could have improved battles.

This game seems to be a personal one. The protagonist is (You) and what I assume is the final boss is your negativity. The secondary characters give you advice to aid you on your journey.

  • Pros:
    • The quotes are meant to spread a positive message.
    • The game sets out to do what it meant to, spread helpful quotes that helped the developer throughout his life.
    • The very short playthrough time serves it well.
  • Cons:
    • The gameplay is very lacking with only one boss and lacks balance.
    • The game seems to have various unwanted bugs.
    • Although intelligible, there are grammar mistakes.
    • Even if the quotes are meant to be quick short nuggets of wisdom, they don't take advantage of the medium in which it inhabits. The game could easily have been a short story or song capable of spreading the developer's same intent.
