thanks for uploading this i counlt watch the stream cause timezones but the replay is awesome im glad you enjoyed it
even tho i say this game is made by friendly seal studio

i did every little bit of the game
the only thing people helped me with is learning how to program and my friends did the soundtrack
this game is inpired by many cool enviorments
and heavily inspired by a game named journey from the same guy who did abzu :3
cool story journey is made by "that game company" but when making journey they went bankrupt cause they wanted to make such a wonderful game and they did
but the art director story director mat nava still wanted to make games so he opened his own studio called "the giant squid studios" and he made some amazing games like abzu and the pathless
and you can really tell its made by the same people
i was so inspired by that, that i even started learning how to program and this is my first ever game
rn im working on a seal game a little simulator about seals but it has alot of gameplay much more than this so the process is super slow but after that i hope i can polish wandering and maybe release it on steam

its a 3d software the point isnt suposted to be pretty this isnt a game this is a tool
the ui is very well optimized and simple to use and has good rules on where are certain funcions placed
its your fault for not learning the software for 5 minutes
also keyboard shortcuts are the best thing ever, its the only reason i can work on such a lighing speed
growing big on itchio by itself is not a great idea cause itchio is more like of a store than a social media
if you really wanna advertise your games and for people to play them more i recomend growing on social media like twitter, its a great place for indies and socializing in indie communities like indie hive indie world order and indie lover
i have 1.180 followers on twitter and only 40 on itchio
ive been a 3d artist for like 6 years now and i was pretty good at 3d after 6 months of youtube tutorials, all you need is to just have a decent workflow you know like know what is proper topology for hard surface and organic surface, how to uv map and texture, blender is amazing at texturing btw, also try to find an easy and simple artsyle for your game that is very pretty and works well with your gameplay.

i even work as a full time freelancer nowadays taking commisions for animating modelling and recenly even got into 2d concepting
you just gotta keep at it and dont give up
there are so many free tutorials and supportive people in the blender community that you can easily learn the program to a really nice deegre within 6 months and it is SUPER SUPER WORTH IT cause you can always use this skill for other projects and ofc maybe even find a some work related to it if you are ever low on money
i woulnt call my self a creative person i just kinda copy what already exist but in my own unique way
cause its really hard to make a pixel perfect copy

i didnt knew this game was so buggy before i play tested it but your comment will help alot
im very glad you like the game cause its gonna improve alot in a few months :3 especialy after all the bug fixing
this was a quick prototype i have developed in around 1.5 including making all the assets and animations

thank you so much for the kind words and suggestions, im indeed quite inspired by the art director of "that game company" games like journey flower and abzu i was very inspired to make a game with a similar peaceful feel cuz its just so plesant to play those games i will modify the way the wings work so its more clear what the orbs do thank you
