A new character model is definitely on my list of changes ^^

Hey just a heads up to let you know that I have updated the game :)

Hey just wanted to let you know that I have updated the game ^^

It's wonderful to hear that you enjoyed playing my little game and that it has so much potential in your eyes!

Your detailed feedback on the mapping, atmosphere, enemy concept, and controls scheme are much appreciated, and I'm thrilled to hear that you found the architecture and layout of the mall to be even more impressive than that of Silent Hill 3 :O.

I will take note of your comments regarding the wonky camera angles and the improvements needed for the enemy balance as it is on my backlog list of upcoming changes. It's great to know that you were able to figure out how to push the blocks correctly the first time and how to use the inventory screen, even though they may have been a bit confusing at first.

Thank you so much for your kind words and constructive feedback. It's always heartwarming to hear that a game you worked hard on resonated with players and that it inspired someone to consider making their own game someday.

I hope you continue to enjoy playing "Sundown Mall" and look forward to seeing what you do next as well ;)!

Thank you for playing my game and taking the time to share your feedback :).
I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed the game, and I appreciate your suggestion regarding the push controls.

I want to let you know that I'm currently working on improving the controls, and I plan to add different controls to the pushing mechanic to make it easier for players to correct their mistakes. Nevertheless, your feedback has been incredibly helpful in identifying areas for improvement, and I hope you'll continue to enjoy playing the game as I work to make it even better.
Thank you again for playing ^^.

Hey there Koolie!

Thanks for playing my game and I'm glad you're enjoying it! Sorry to hear about the block situation though, I feel your pain. I've had that happen to me before in games and it can be quite frustrating ^^"

But don't worry, I actually have a different control scheme in mind for the block moving that should solve the issue altogether. So, in the future, you won't have to worry about getting stuck on a block puzzle like this one. Unfortunately, for now, there's no way to reset that particular room.

Thanks again for playing and for the feedback! I'll definitely keep this in mind for future updates. :)

Hey Alex :)

I'm incredibly stoked that you enjoyed the game and it was certainly a joy to watch you play through the whole thing so a huge thank you for that ^^

The project was made in about 2 weeks as part of my bachelor's dissertation ^^. As such the game sadly couldn't feature a lot of direct storytelling as it would've conflicted with my research.

As for the future of the project, I plan to take your feedback to heart and release maybe 1-2 patches that should resolve some issues that came up. There was also another optional section you missed during your playthrough
;)

Also, I plan on making another Horror game set in Sundown Mall except it will have more intricate puzzles and riddles and will be in First Person

I hope you will check it out whenever that will release. thanks for playing and I will keep at it ^^

A Mall Near You is a charming and hilarious game that will have you giggling while feeling nostalgic for the good old days of mall culture.
The character art is fantastic, and the attention to detail in the mall design is quite impressive. The game strikes the perfect balance between silly humour and genuine heart, making it a joy to play from start to finish.
The only downside is that it left me wanting more!

Overall, I'd give it 5 out of 5 stars and I'd love to see more of this concept.

Spectral Filter is a spine-chilling horror game that will keep you on the edge of your seat.
The game's eerie atmosphere, beautiful lighting, and set design work together to create an immersive experience. The out-of-place sounds added an extra layer of spookiness that I got spooked by every time xD.
However, the rooms were a bit too similar, and it would have been great if the fantastic lighting from the start was used a bit more.
Also, I got lost quite a few times, which made me backtrack quite a lot, but that could've been just me ^^.
Overall, if you're looking for a pretty fun and spooky horror experience, Spectral Filter is definitely worth checking out.

It's a cool game that captures that weird feeling you get from liminal images. Like the creator says wearing headphones is basically mandatory for maximum spookiness and immersion ^^.
As the levels are inspired by liminal images from the internet the game has the same great atmosphere that you get from their original counterparts.
Most of the levels look pretty awesome, but some rooms can also be a bit lacking in the visual department as you walk through them.

So if you're into liminal stuff and want a quick and cool experience, give this game a try :).

It was a really fun platformer, especially the floatiness of the jumps feel surprisingly fitting to the game's world. I think it could use more of a game ending well... ending as I did everything but I still ran around looking for what I still can do only to find out that I finished the game already :)

This really has some simple but fun mechanics. I love having to do precision jumps and feeling a sense of accomplishment going down to get the picks.
At that point going up is a pretty cool move and the level design working down and upwards reflects the thought that was put into the level. My only gripe with the game so far is that the pick gameplay still feels a bit too sluggish for my taste. I loved the speed going down but moving up slowed things down considerably and I lost that momentum I built up, but that might be just me.
Overall an awesome experience definitely will buy the full version when it's out :)
