Thank you so much for your thoughts! I'm glad you enjoyed it! And yes, it is a small prequel to Siren's Call, so you're right on the money with that one.

Thank you so much!!! <3 We worked very hard on it.

A short story about a parasitic sunflower and her loyal son. Eat everything you can. Enjoy the sunshine. Do whatever it takes to make her happy.

Inspired by early RPGmaker horror games and Adult Swim bumpers, Sunflower Pie is a bite-sized visual novel with extra parasites (for flavor). Much like real life, it oscillates violently between discomfort and sincerity. Unlike real life, however, there is only one correct choice.

Features:

*You can beat this visual novel in 25 minutes

*Oliver’s speech therapist is good at her job and owns a revolver

*Learn about all the cool ways to remove ticks from your body

*Made with love (sincerely)

I added the updated build to a beta on steam! It should be under properties > betas > linux86. Ideally, this one should work!

Sure thing, I'll try and make that the main version on steam later today. It's a x86 version rather than a x64 version though, so I'll have to try and find a way to make both available on steam so that the x64 crowd doesn't miss out.

Thank you for reporting back! :D

So itch won't let me actually upload the most current update of the game, because it passes the 1.0 GB limit, but I THINK I found the issue with the old linux build.

Ideally, this version of the game should work based on what I know about that error. If it doesn't, please let me know if the 1.00 version worked in any regard, because that's will help inform the next steps i'd need to take. I'm sorry it's been so buggy though.

Alrighty, I still think I know what the issue is thankfully. I'm going to try and upload a new linux version of the game to here tonight when I get off work and see if that works out for ya. Until then, I'll make the old, 1.00 version of the game available on the store page and we'll see if that works for the time being.

Thank you for letting me know though; it's hard getting feedback for the Linux builds in particular, so thank you for letting me know you ran into these errors. Also, is it the most recent version of the game you are running?

Oh dang, that's no good.

I have a theory as to why this crash happened, but I need you to try something for me first so I can confirm my suspicions. The Steam version of the game is slightly different for linux in terms of it's construction. Could you try downloading the Steam version here (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1915740/Sirens_Call/) and tell me if you get the same error. If you don't, then I know for sure it has something to do with the .sh file (or lack of one) for this version, but if not, it might be something else I need to look into.

More will be coming! I promise. :) I'm glad you enjoyed. n_n
