Hi everyone!

The game is finished, and we've just done an update that'll hopefully fix the bugs that people have experienced on some of the other pages. Please enjoy, and let us know what you think!

I've spent a few weeks now trying to fix the bugs people have experienced, and, at least to my knowledge, I've done it! No more screen tearing, for example. Hopefully you'll be able to have a smoother, better playthrough of the game now :)

Hi Sebastian!

First of all, thank you for your kind words. This is our first game that we've made with the intention of selling it, and we for sure made some choices with the writing and the code that we won't make next time. The bug you've experienced with stopping the elevator and then being stuck is one we'll be trying to fix, we've tried once before but there's obviously something left that we need to get to work on. And with the game not launching in the itch app, i had no idea about that and i'll try to have that fixed as soon as possible! One thing we don't regret is making the game in swedish. Yes it is in part because we'd have to pay voice actors or do it with a swedish accent, but it's also part of the ambience we wanted to create. The game takes place in sweden, and any other language spoken would not make sense. 


If you do decide to play through it again, I will give you a few tips. The elevator stops by itself at the different floors so you just have to wait for it to do so! Also  if you want to skip her telling you where you are etc, once she asks you to stop the elevator and starts talking, if you start the elevator again she will not like that and will basically tell you "whatever, deal with it yourself" and the story will sort of skip ahead. Also, once you play one ending you will be asked if you want to play another ending and it will start again at that ending. Either way we thank you for your feedback and will try to fix as many of the problems as possible when we have the time :)

Just letting you know we will be removing the demo for Twelve floors below from Itch tomorrow, as we will upload the finished game in two days and don't want people playing them one after the other as it won't make for a good experience. Sorry for dissapearing on you, it's been a good while since the last devlog. We've had quite a lot on our hands with life in general, and had to put the gamedev on the back burner for a little while. Don't worry though, we're back and we have a good plan to continue working on the game these coming weeks, as we'd hopefully like to release the game in May! This week we've recorded some new sound effects, worked some more on the lighting and UI, and also decorated the scenes. The lighing of the scenes has been taking up a lot of our time this week, as baking light usually does if you're working on a not so great computer. However, we've also worked a little bit on adding in dialogue, and thought about what else needs finishing before the game is done. We're getting closer! This week we've been focusing mostly on the graphics, making sure the different rooms look good and have that certain ambience. This upcoming week we're planning on adding in the final little bit of dialogue, and to do even more polishing. Things are moving ahead wonderfully and we're super excited about it! It has been really exciting to see what people like about the demo! We've gotten some good feedback, and also some compliments, and now we're back to working on the full game. The demo is done, and it will be published here on Itch for all to play on the 10th of January! We've had some extra time to spend on the game recently, which has been great fun and also very productive. Once the demo is out we'll go back to working on the full game.

This week we've kept quite busy, and actually finished polishing up a new version of our demo! We've sent it out to our playtesters, who will give their feedback this week. We'll look through the feedback and work on fixing as many issues as possible next week. Hopefully we'll have a demo ready for you quite soon after that. Hi everyone!

Big week! We've finally got our Steam page up and rolling, something we've wanted to do for a long time now. Very excited to see some people have already decided to wishlist the game, if you're one of these people we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you haven't wishlisted the game yet, it would be hugely appreciated if you decided to do so as it makes sure our game will be shown to even more people! You can find our Steam page here.

Other than that, we've spent the week adding in some dialogue and doing some 3D-modelling. The story is close to finished, all we have left is adding in the rest of our recorded material, and recording the final ending. After that it's just polishing left, and of course, game testing :)
