I really love the pupdate! the new level looks really cool and I like the music that plays during it. the lower platform density does increase the difficulty compared to lake shore zone since it's harder to rack up a big combo but that also makes coffee feel a lot more mandatory too. the platform shapes are pretty cool too and also the short one with the super steep upward slope is kind of hard to land on which adds to the extra difficulty I feel (which I really appreciate by the way!)

other than the aerial-while-grounded bug, I think the only nitpicking I have to do is about the level selection menu. it doesn't let you change your cursor position particularly quickly which feels kind of unresponsive, and there's a missing opening parenthesis in "lakeshore zone timed run)". I also think that splitting timed and one hit into two different levels is a bit odd and if you add more levels that's probably going to get really clunky. maybe you could have just lake shore zone and cold and dark forest as options and to the right of the level name you have the timed/one hit icon with (sketchy/moving?) arrows on either side to say you can toggle with left/right (like <⏱> or <💀>), and then to indicate what level you're on you could put like a star or dot to the left of the level you're selecting.

this game is still really addicting and I continue to play it whenever I have some free time, it's really fun to try to grind out a high score in both levels! I was really happy when I managed to z rank cold and dark forest timed, it took a lot longer than lake shore zone but I got there eventually ^w^

hii! grounded jumps being triggered when the key is released instead of pressed makes a lot more sense now that you say it that way, I do think that it's good flavor-wise and tbh I probably should've noticed that earlier. I still really love this game, I've been playing this on and off the past couple days like some little phone game type thing, it's so fun. the menus work now btw as far as I can tell :33 

btw, from what I can tell if you land on a platform while rising then your jump inputs won't work until you start falling again which trips me up on occasion

this game is awesome. I have been playing it on call with a friend and I am deeply in love with it. the sound design is awesome, I love the ost, I love the art style, the one metric ton of particles scratch my brain in a really good way, and also the game just plays really well. I don't know if it's intended to get combo when you jump AND when you land but it's really satisfying to do that and I have abused this to get really good scores. grinding for even higher pretty much immediately after writing this comment.

I guess the only thing that bugs me is that the delay to jumping off the ground applies to the first jump you make which gave me trouble on my first playthrough but that doesn't bother me too much given most of the time you're not on the ground. going back to the main menu only sometimes works, pressing enter or space most of the time just makes you play a timed run (even if you were previously doing a one hit) which is a little upsetting I guess. really really good game though.

I have I only have one complaint: why is she in the tube? can we please get her out of the tube? thank you in advance for freeing her from the tube.
