I'm thinking my deck for the jam might be "The Bartender's Kit"
I think there's an element of getting exponentially better as you increase levels. Like, a 3 on the Richter scale for earthquakes might be comparable to a semi truck driving by, but a 4 can shatter your windows.
As a player, If I take 2 turns to get out 2 level 1 cards, when I sacrifice them, I lose their abilities, so I want my level 2 card to have an ability that is worth the trade-off. I don't think this has to be a set-in-stone design principle, but without it, there isn't really a reason to not just have decks that are >90% levels 0-1 beyond other people's deck gimmicks.
Heyo, could you add Plasty to the bundle?
I would love to be able to region-lock my products. I have two main reasons for this, but if anyone wants to jump in with others, I'd love to hear them. I believe that region-publishing controls are beneficial for two reasons.
- It gives creators better control of their pricing in each country
- It allows for games, comics, stories, and other products that use content from the grey area of the public domain. That is, content that is PD in some countries, but still under copyright in others.
Does anyone know if itch has ever toyed with these features? It seems wild to me that in four years most of the world will be legally allowed to use all of Tolkien's writing but itch won't be able to host anything that even mentions hobbits until 2044 because it doesn't have region-specific releases.
I think I'm gonna make a ttrpg either about this duck utopia: https://www.atlasobscura.com/articles/duck-pest-control or about a trip through Bulgaria: https://www.atlasobscura.com/unusual-trips/bulgaria
