I am very much looking forward to it!

A continuity error. After the panic attack, MC decides to not tell Calder about what he saw but in the baths, Calder talks as if MC did in fact tell him. Not sure if I missed something but it didn't seem right.

Great update though!

OOO, just saw Nocce, when are we getting his route >.>

EVELYN, WHY!?

Because he chose to slip out of the palace without letting anyone know or taking guards with him. For not taking enough precautions when he did this either.

Yeah, the lack of a skip is really pushing me away from starting again. There is a desperate need for it with how large it has gotten.

Is there any way to speed up progression beyond cheating in items to help you out? It is such a large game at this point that I am dreading starting over again. Especially the things like the dungeons and such.

I am curious to know what sorts of improvement they made? The 'patch notes' are pretty bare.

I also noticed that Philip used his card instead of cash when he bought coffee and just assumed that you messed that up. I see now that that is not the case, very nice detail!

I will say, I am a bit confused by the timeline. It sounds like the breakup with Darryl happened about a year before the start of the VN but the messages from Darryl and the flashback to the breakup both make it seem like the breakup just happened right before the trip to his sister's which also makes sense in that the breakup would be the catalyst to go visit his sister.

Which is it? I am leaning towards a year ago but the texts are strange. I am still going through at least so maybe it will clear up.

Overall fantastic!

That muscle gut, WOOF

Tyrant is the only path, 100% of people get it regardless of their choices. It is fate after all...

I would assume, as of right now, the ideal path for the Garden of Flesh scene is not possible without the inspire option, correct?

We got another one boys

Is it possible to see the patch notes for version 0.14 and 0.15 without paying? I am curious to see what is in the upcoming updates.

If you are really struggling, you could look inside the scripts for the game and find it out that way. You won't get anyone directly telling you the password, those comments just get deleted.

I hate to say it but the devs for this game have a track record of their VNs having "bad" endings for the characters.

It seems that Rune's night doesn't go correctly into the attack. Is only Burry's day connected up right now?

I just double checked, as of right now, none of the choices made during Chapters 1-6 actually affect much. Most are small ~5 lines of changed dialog (did you drink with Vulgor or not? The game needs to remember for a few flavor lines later and such). The only counter that seems to increase and maybe matter is a Vulgor counter which I assume from the context is how much he likes you. It is still only up to 3 after all those parts though.

To sum up, none of the choice really matter for the first 6 chapters as of right now, they might come up as small things later but this VN is basically linear and that is why this standalone chapter is able to exist.

The total list of tracked variables is below:
1) Your name (obviously).
2) A "Vulgor" counter, seems to be affinity or something. Current Min = 0 and Max = 4
3) A "Knife" True/False for if you choose Ranok to stab you. No effect after the chapter except for 6 spoken lines in Chapter 3.
4) A "Booze" True/False for if you drank the moonshine when they stabbed you. Small changes in further chapters of ~5 lines in length where MC is more enthusiastic about drinking.
5) A "Romance" True/False for if you admitted to yourself about your feelings early on for Ranok. Minor changes but no branches or anything.
6) A "Drinking Buddy" True/False for if you drank with Vulgor again in Chapter 3. Minor line changes, nothing major so far.
7) A "Caelan" counter, not sure of the meaning. Increments if you approached the Moonshrine pool. Creates the branch in this chapter.

To sum up, the only 2 values that seem to matter in the least are the Vulgor counter and the Caelan counter. With a total of 5 points between them, only 5 choices have really even a chance at mattering.

Thanks for the transparency, that is something that is sometimes sorely lacking from VNs. I would say, you should push an update so that more people will see this. Comments will be buried eventually and many people might not look in the comments for information.

Thanks for your work!

Yeah, that was my first thought. Why give options if none of them matter? If they do matter, how was this standalone build possible?

Just make it linear if that is what is going on anyway.

Oh boy!

Is there any way to see which ones/how many we have seen?

Interesting how Max asks if you remember the melody you played with him before and MC doesn't which is very similar to the line with Rune and the line MC said to him when they met. I can't remember if there was a similar situation with Burry (been a while since his afternoon was released!) but I am very VERY interested in seeing how that is going to be resolved. With the mystery around it and the similarities in atleast 2 of the routes, I am excited to find out more!

I agree with you tbh, just because it is free does not mean I can't have a negative opinion of the actions of the developer.

if you are 100% sure that you are in the right spot and have high enough perception, you just need to walk back and forth over that tile for a while and it will eventually pop up.

Cool. What is the WSF guide? I wouldn't mind going through a few more times to check everything out with a guide for it.

Small(ish) nitpick but the directions to get back to the main hall from the administration area is incorrect.

The order to get there from the main hall is L-R-L-S-R-L. The "correct" order you currently have is R-L-R-S-L-R which is the above sequence but with the Lefts and Rights swapped. What it should be is R-L-S-R-L-R which is the first sequence with the Lefts and Rights swapped and *also reversed* since you are going backwards FROM admin TO the main hall.

Small thing but it took me a while to figure out the "correct" way back since the real answer was not right.

Small thing but it got me a bit lol

Yeah, Rex and the gardener (cant think of the name) would both be great additions if it gets that far.

What are the bottom two rows that are locked and the final 4th column that is also locked? Future stuff I assume?

EDIT: 3 rows at the bottom of the book, 2 rows at the bottom of the MC head menu. Weird.

I liked Hammish before but this update has catapulted him to one of the top slots for me. He is such a kind father, I really hope Cole starts to go to him for magical help at some point.

23 years old huh? A thief stole some research, possibly 23 years prior? Has the build of Hammish and even some innate spellcasting ability? Interesting.

Is there anything you can do with the sniper rifle other than missing 0/1/2 of your shots and shooting a canine? Feels like there could be something else due to Alon's line in the barkest corner about NOT using it but I wasn't sure.

100%

In the dev log for 1.07, the dev says they had already gotten Norman's first day partially written so that is a very strong indicator that Norman is next.

I mean, it could just be an error/oversight by the dev. Happens all the time, no big deal.

This took place during a conversation with Saya about if anyone else knew they were together. MC never told Shoichi that Haruki knew they were together.

Also, on Day 26, Shoichi tells Saya that MC told Shoichi about Haruki's meddling when that just never took place. It seems that the fine details are starting to deteriorate towards the end with variables and choices getting a little messed up.

Well, I mean that MC told Shoichi that he had already told Aki when he has expressly not done that. Additionally, same playthrough, day 25 at night with Aki, MC is talking about how he is nervous about telling him.

It is just a missed variable or something near there, just thought I would give a little bug report for the dev to check out. I know it can be tough to keep the continuity for VNs if you do it piecemeal.

I am playing through for the first time and there is a strange inconsistency I found. Shoichi's route, day 22, I told Saya the truth about MC and Shoichi dating. Shoichi talks about how Saya congratulated him and stuff then asks if anyone else knew on MC's side and he says that Aki knows? AFAIK, MC hasn't told Aki about them dating so I was very confused when I saw that.
