Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Our game is still in its very early stages but I'm predicting that it will dramatically improve over the course of this week.

The game is best played in full screen and we are currently working on having it functional for all screen sizes.

I ended up finally being able to play your game, and that was really fun. I love the use of the theme and I love the animation. It's very subtle but worthwhile. I'm very glad I came back to this. Thank you for making this game.

Yeah, for a few those problems, I hope to figure out what was wrong before I participate in my next GameJam. Would you know how to make the movement more fluid perchance? Thank you so much for the compliments. I hope to see you in future GameJams.

I'm glad that you liked my game, thank you.

I figured out what it was. When you de-combine with another piece you do a little hop to signal to the player that you have de-combined, but I never put a timer on it so that makes sense. Thank you for telling me about that.

Yeah I don't quite know how to fix that. I'm currently moving with position because it was the best way to get all the pieces to move in tandem. Do you have any pointers on how to fix that buggyness? Also, thank you for the complements. It was my first ever GameJam and I'm looking forward to seeing you in the next one. (Oh and also that was my first time ever doing level design so thank you.)

God damn ok. That's really impressive. I thought you might have been a veteran at this or something, especially since it was done solo. Nice job man. I hope to see you in the next one.

Oh well that very kind of you. Thank you.

It's on my list too. I was planning on doing it but the deadline was 30 minutes away so I just gave up and went for this.

The issue about window's security alert apparently is just a false alarm and you are just supposed to disregard it. I'm sorry for freaking you out. Your game was the first I'd seen with that problem but I have now seen a few. Once again, sorry if I worried you. I hope you have a good week

Thank you for playing the game, and yeah I was going to fix that but when I remembered that it was a problem. I was 30 minutes away from the deadline. Which sucks. Thank you for the advice though.

Thank you so much for playing the game. Yeah for my next game jam I defietly would want to add audio. I was going to go for an electronic theme since the colors were neon.

Wait what you can? Oh that's hilarious. I had no idea huh. Thank you for the help that's really strange.

Thank you man. Yeah I was actually hoping to add both of those ideas, but I ran out of time sadly. I really appreciate your advice. Thank you man

I'm sorry. I was looking forward to playing your game but I couldn't open the application. I have a computer that runs windows, so did you publish the game with Linux or Mac as the main. My computer says that "Windows Protected your PC." I wish I could have played your game. I hope to see you in the next one though. (and actually get to play it)

Wow I love this. I have always been a sucker for turn based RPGs. I'm really impressed you guys made this in a week. How many GameJams have you done, and how many people did you have on your team. The art and music are really stunning and even though you didn't make either yourselves you still had to find them and implement them which is still awesome in its own right. The use of the theme could be a little better in my opinion. However, combining attacks together to build up a combo meter was still a good incorporation of the theme, and an interesting mechanic. Oh and I forgot to mention, I loved the mechanics. It was the perfect level of difficulty. That was a really fun game and I hope to see you all in the next GameJam (if they have one).

The game was pretty fun. It had a good story to go along with really amazing drawings. I had a fun time playing the levels. I'm looking forward to seeing you in the next GameJam (if they do one).

I realized that I never stated the controls until after the submission deadline so I’m going to put them here.

Controls:

Movement - Arrow keys or W and D keys

Jumping - Up arrow key, A key, or space bar

Combining - down Arrow key or S key

Please feel free to leave criticism in the comments. This is my first ever GameJam and I had a blast. It was a ton of fun to try to create a game from scratch. I’m looking forward to whatever they do next. If there is a next time, which I hope there will be  because I sucked at this one. However, I also know that “sucking at sumthin’ is the first step towards being sorta good at something.” - Jake the Dog. All I mean by that is a promise that my next one will be even better.

(PS: if this is either of the hosts, I had a ton of fun please let there be a next time.)
