also I'm sorry I finished the route in like 4am my head was very groggy so I forgot to mention, but during the whole scene (you know, the whole thingamajig) the characters' sprites weren't in their correct positions, even went off-screen. I think it might be me pressing Enter repeatedly to skip texts so the sprites didn't have time to move into place. I only got to see the sprites correctly (I think) in the second act of the scene
You can also get X rank in both Madhouse vs Jamie if you lose, or at least I think so. The screen will say 'Jaime Turn Count' instead of just 'Turn Count'. In this case I think spamming Heckle is a good choice. The difficulty raises every time you succeed so eventually you will fail, and when you do Jaime attacks immediately. Madhouse should fail every saving roll here because of the difficulty and get his shit rocked.
Also a few side notes:
- Taro's Tuna Defender and Pounce synergies extremely well, and should be used as an opener-finisher combo. You should focus on Jamie and Atlas until both Taro and Madhouse are low on health.
- Robo-Atlas alternates his Guts stat between +3 and -2. Focus your attacks on even turns.
- August also has another use in Robo-Atlas, which is that he can deal heavy damage with little stamina if you use Parental Magic and then Onslaught. If things go right, combining that with Kinesis Omega on the first 3 turns should bring Robo-Atlas down to half his health by the time he gets to attack. Do notice though that this combo is unstable, depending entirely on Robo-Atlas Guts .And if you're on Demon difficulty, this would be hard to pull off, so using Jaime's Inescapable Flex beforehand should help with this.
