This looks good! However I'm on Linux and I can't get this to work under wine, I'd kindly request a Linux build after the jam :)

This is an awesome game! The graphics are really nice and the music goes great with it. I enjoyed the gameplay, I'm a fan of wave shooters, so this was perfect for me. Amazing job!
My only personal problem is that the game didn't run well in the browser (I have a bad laptop), please consider providing a downloadable build in the future :'D
Really nice game! It feels polished and looks nice, the mini-games are really fun as well! Love the code-running one to delete system32 haha. Unique game with an original concept, 5 stars on that front!
ps. Rick and Morty is amazing.
ps. ps. The developer provided a special temporary solution for Mac and Linux users, as well as provided a WebGL build. Thank you.
Thank you! And yes, this is a bug I'm aware of. Having set up the tilemap in unity, there was flickering that would occur between all the objects in the tilemap. I couldn't figure out what was wrong as I'd verified everything was set up correctly, I hope this didn't affect your experience too badly!
This is amazing! Incredibly well polished, I'm astonished by the lovely graphics, sound and planning that must have gone into this. The controls feel really snappy, and I love the animations! It's even hard to believe this was made in only 7 days!
My only critique is that when you die, it goes right back to the (beautifully crafted) intro comic scene without any animation or indication that the player died.
Props to the team that made this, incredibly well done!
The mechanics are actually brilliant, I absolutely love them (my favourites are the black hole and gravity flips)! I love the simplistic and fun nature of this (chaotic) game. Controls feel very smooth, and the visual effects let me feel the speed and momentum, which is super cool! Not to mention, the music is incredible and I had my head bopping the whole way through haha. My only criticism, which I've seen mentioned in the comments below, is that the tutorial is long and hard to follow, so it takes a while to get the hang of.
You've done an amazing job, well done! Best of luck for the future.
I find it a fun and intense little game, well done! I would like to have some sound effects and a little more user feedback (taking and dealing damage).
The boss currently feels like a bullet sponge, it would be cool if it had different attacks and a health bar.
Fun game with potential, if you decide to update it, I'd love to return to it :)
Developer Story
Box Fishing is a personal solo passion project I've worked on for the better part of the last 3 years, around the end of my high school career. With the tremendous support of my friends, I worked hard on this project until its release. I'm excited to share this game with the community, so here it is!
About Box Fishing
This game was inspired by Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy, I thoroughly enjoyed that game, so I decided to take my own simplistic twist on that genre. It features getting a cube up a strange mountain using well-placed jumps. As the game is more fast-paced, I added a timer so that you can make records of how fast you can beat the main mountain. For variety, I added a Night-Mode to the mountain, which is accessible through a cave after beating the game. Later on in development I saw that people were having fun with the game, so I added a level editor so that people could make their own levels and challenge their friends.
