Yee, I ran into that dynamic a bit while playing, I found it quite fun risking a run to the safe area!

Hi! Great concept, I really like the idea of the wind being a push back obstacle, like others said an indicator might be nice, but I still think it's very cool. Well done! :)

Hi! Looks like a funny game lol, wish I could rate, but sadly cant because I'm not on windows. Still wanna say well done tho.

Considering your short dev time on this game, it turned out pretty neat! Gotta love a silly game. I will say the sound effects can be a bit loud and sharp, and the colours and shaders which are cool, does hurt eyes after a while.

However apart from that u have a tight nice lil game, well done! :)

I like the hummingbird concept! I ended up getting somewhere around 120,000 by just running from left to right, because the bees often couldnt reliably hit me in time, except for the rare occasion lol. Well done on submission :)

Love the concept of Scavenging while avoiding wind gusts! Very cool concept for a game, the wind could be more deadly, because right now it's not that strong.  But its still a good submission, well done!

Hi! Fun concept, I like it a lot. Clever use of 3 buttons too! Could do with some polish in regards to movement speed and such, but apart from that this is a fun submission :) Well done.

Very cute lil platformer! I love the concept of building your own level to finish it. Could do with some tweaks to the block selection because rn it collects them all in a bunch if u hover over two or more.

OTHER THAN THAT, very swag. Well done on submitting!

Hey! I really like the concept and the gameplay loop seems fun.

I wasn't able to play much because I dont think trackpads work well with RMB and LMB at the same time well, and I don't have a mouse on me. The camera sensitivity when not aiming could be turned up a lil bit too. BUT other than that, this seems like a cool entry! Well done on submitting.

Hi! Was able to fix that A/D Steering bug, and change the text colour, should work now :)

Just fixed this bug, should work better now!

Phew lol. Thanks for playing!

Nice game! Very chill, and I appreciate a good leaderboard hehe.

An idea to increase difficulty is make it like the chrome offline dino game, where the more metres u get, the faster you go. (More risk, yet higher score) Other than that, well done :)

Ah no worries, i get the feeling lol. Well done on getting it in either way :)

I getchu, first time with godot is tough lol. It might be an issue on my end too, because I'm running on mac.

Other than that it might be a piece of code trying to reset you and another trying to move you fighting against each other, if that makes sense. I'm not sure tho 🤔

Hi! I ran into this issue too, I think it's a matter of an animation looping back to the down position and vice versa when it starts playing. I will update as soon as I can, thanks for playing :)

For now, it doesnt happen if you tap A/D instead of hold I think.

Thanks for your feedback! Once jam is over I think I will change some stuff like the text, and a day ui too! Also I think the jumping is from the animation of rotating the ship looping lol, it's a small fix, but one I will defo update!

You too!

This is hella relaxing and a chill cloud game. Well done! I rated presentation 5 stars because that is some scrumptious art :D

Thank you for feedback! Those were my ideas when brainstorming, but I had to shorten the game (as you would have to for 2 days dev time).

In the future I'd like to add stuff like what you said, they sound hella cute, plus I will redo the input map once jam is over, cus 3 buttons limits features a lot.

And as your idea for upgrading the base for an upcoming bad event, smth like Frostpunk where a big storm would reach your base within a certain time I think would fit!

Once again thanks for playing :)

Hi! I really liked the concept of the game.

It might be nice to have a bit more of a zoomed out camera to see whats ahead easier, but other than that this is a cool short game, Well done!

Hey! It says on the game profile that no game as been uploaded? I wont rate it incase this is a mistake/late submission but just letting u know.

Hey, I tried playing but I got stuck on the first level. It was a problem with the controls I think, when I pressed a direction it would spam and glitch between the start position and another constantly, no matter what I tried.

I wish I could play the game, it looks really cool! I like the concept, lmk if u need any help with troubleshooting :)

Thanks sm!

Oh? what was the error, you might have to reload the page. Im not sure tho

Only 8 Hours?? Thats insane, well done!

It plays great too, Cool game :)

(It'd be really cool if there was a global leaderboard for the fastest time, id love to see how fast someone can beat it)

Dude this is so sick! I love the art and the gameplays actually super fun :)

High score was 2302. Great game.

Nice! I finished all the levels, really like the art, very clean.

Would be nice to have a little bit more walking speed, but other than that, its very cool :)

Nice game! the art is really cute and I like the concept :)

Not anything too weird, because in the Engine they showed up, for example on the tutorial it was just these:

-  .  ,  []

So a pretty weird thing, the font might have just not had them, so it went to defaults in the engine, but in the export it didn't have that font, hence no special characters.

Hi, thanks for the feedback. I should probably change how pressing Y works so that it does it after you build so thanks for that :)

Also as for the "magic areas" thats my bad because the way I have it built is so it detects where u can and cant place, aka. it was to avoid being able to stack Crucible Forms and just build forever lol. But I wasnt able to polish it before the jam so as of right now, I think the collider that detects this can sometimes not recognise the areas because it just exited another, therefore recognising it as open air. I have a way to fix this but I can only do so after Jam. (This can be fixed by jumping so the collider detects it again and it should be all good, anywhere that isn't a Crucible Form should be able to be built upon)

As for the text symbols, I saw that in tests and I genuinely dont know, might be something to do with exporting from Godot, or uploading to Itch.

Thank you!

Thanks! I think I know how to fix and will do after jam :)

Thanks for the feedback! I'll change the description to better explain that it's building bridges and paths. As for the tutorial I'm unsure what you mean, did you try the X button in the top right (I should probably make it stand out anyway)

Losing health is for the idea of rebirth as part of the game, although u can technically beat it without dying, it is intended to retry if u can with a new person.

And finally as for the not being able to press Y I ran into that bug myself but didn't have time to fix it, ( its to do with the icon in the top left that shows if you can place a form or not) however if you jump it should fix!

Overall the game was a lil rushed so I apologise for any bugs and will fix after jam :)

**HOPEFULLY fixed now, I enabled fullscreen button. I didnt realise that was turned off lol

Hi! Thanks for enjoying the game, and I understand what u meant by fullscreen because I fully intended for it to be fullscreen, I just didnt realise on chrome it was embedded so small. So there should be a fullscreen button now. (Since I'm on Mac, safari automatically fullscreens)

I didn't realise it wasn't full screen, I'll try fix this now if I can, but thank you!

Ive had reports of buggy collisions around sector 2 and Im working on fixing them, R to reset can help, but thanks for the feedback! :)

(Patch might come out I the following week)

Thanks for the feedback! I plan to update it after the Jam (at some point) so that i can fix some bug reports etc. I'll look into the bug in the second sector and might make a way to remap inputs in the future now that you mention it :] (also i had planned for music and sounds but due to time i had to leave them out lol)
