Yeah, i have always played in full screen mode; but otherwise happy to bring it to attention. thanks for the windowed mode suggestion at least i'll be able to sail again, until a fix comes about.

in relation to updates, i set up maelstrom and the mod packs how it was initially recommended to install; and since then it has always installed automatically without my intervention when i log into itch.  So i just made sure to go around and manually check if maelstrom and or mod packs needed an update, it looks like i am all good in that respect.

I can sail, but not to any ports and or locations around the island? 

only thing i changed was the difficulty setting, set it from impossible down to commodore. but other than that have't done anything out of the ordinary. 

One more thing also to add. i tabbed out and the icons disappeared; when i went back into the game. cheers!

Hello! there seems to be a user interface problem, it's minor as the options still work. whenever your on your ship sailing in 3rd person; when you hit enter to open the user interface to select anything all the images of what you would normally see are no longer visible. however if you look close enough at it you can still see which action does and go about your day from there. similar to the boarding bug that you patched chez where the user interface did not show completely at all.

of course this is minor as it isn't getting in the way of playing the game; you can still select the action just text is quite small on screen and so hard to read slumped back. still trying to understand how i am triggering it, seems to happen randomly at the moment every now and again before reverting right back to normal.

Edit: Also there was no 'options' folder for this save? there is for my original 1st playthrough, the save i sent with the issue; is a secondary playthrough, so i just sent the 'options' folder irrespective of the save.

Once i board a ship, the user interface is non existent, the battle is over however i cannot access the world map, sail anywhere, trade ship cargo with others etc etc. i will post a screenshot below.

it's like the game just went into realism mode; no information relating to the ship at all. thanks! :)

Just wondered how polished the GOF 2.5 is?  i accepted the quest got my passenger. and talked to him before departure; however i arrive in port royal at night (not got a marque) and go to the tavern but it won't deliver the passenger. I searched it up and google. Apperently i am supposed to get arrested during this quest, however i am yet to get arrested and be able to continue the quest. :) cheers. 

Not sure if it is a bug, haven't really got far into this game yet. But i proceeded to insult another captain, unfortunately did not get the name.. (maybe a noteworthy character) on the pirate settlement on cuba inside the local tavern. (I saved after the duel and not before)

The gold after winning this duel amounted to just over 1,000,000,000 gold.

Now i only had around 200k saved from trading goods. But this seems like an awful amount of gold from a single duel. 

Maybe this is balanced? In tune with a expense of owning multiple ships? Etc or the quests etc that go along with this mod. But at the moment not got the experience of playing through this game with these mods yet; any feedback appreciated :)

Edit: i duelled another captain just to test this out again, this time in cuba, havana. And not puerto principe; the reward was substantial, 66k but not anywhere close to the previous duel.

Edit 2: might just be me, but since duelling these captains.. i seem to have lost my ships, all 3 of em. I go to port and it says it is on the oyher side of the island, go to puerto principe port.. not there, and i am sure i have been to every shore line on top of that.. and nothing.. 😂

Edit 3: scratch that last edit.. i got back to where i was supposed to be... eventually.. clearly was in havana.. then went to puerto principe.. and had to go back to santiago.. 🥺 but yeah still no idea how i got 1m gold from that duel. :)

Ok i done it! It is GOF 2.1.5. I take it when it comes to downlosding the other mods you put it in the same folder/location? Or? Am i getting it all wrong here. 

i don't understand anything regarding the install of the engine at all. is there a step by step by any chance? or something else to follow other than the pdf provided? thanks!
