This level broke me, and I've been crying since

Wow, truly impressed.

Made me cry and poop myself. Great game.

Pretty decent. Biggest issue was that I could move to the very bottom and avoid everything

I love the aesthetic, but found the gameplay a little too slow

Fun little game. I did get the speed glitch, but it was corrected when I hit the wall.

Very neat! It gives me "Papers Please" vibes, and bet you could make something interesting out of it.

I wish it was easier to aim the rocket, so I could more easily aim for the French

Cool idea! Good for your first game :)

I like the art. Gameplay was a little too simple

FROGS UNITE!!!

FROGS UNITE!!!

I like the aesthetics and how weird it is, but was confused on what to do and how the mechanics worked

Very cool stuff! Had very few issues

Great idea, but the robot is painfully slow. Would like to see where you could take the concept though

The audio was clipping a lot for me, but the game was fun, and looks great

Pretty good. I was able to just spam the spacebar though, and could've gone on forever because of it.

Added more levels, music and made time go 33% faster during slow-mo.

Would you say it's the rotation speed of the flipping that's too flow, or the actual slowmotion?

Hi! Game Development is not just about producing masterpieces, but also about having fun and improving. It's a hobby like any other, and some people choose to develop games just because they think it's fun to do. This Game Jam was made as a safe space for those who are interested in Game Development, but are too afraid of getting judged for not making games that don't live up to other people's expectations.

Hope you enjoy your day! :)

Yes, there will be a winner. The prize is only a role for the Discord server though, as to discourage people from getting too competitive

It'll be graded based on how well it fits the theme, how creative your idea is, and how fun the game is to play. The Theme criteria weighs more heavily than the others though.

The jam used to not have a ranking system, but people voted for it to be implemented. The winner only gets a role for the Discord server.

If you want to win, yeah, but if you don't care about that, feel free to do whatever

Sure! No need to reinvent the wheel when it comes to coding, as long as the game itself is your own idea.
Though if you do copy an entire tutorial at some point, it'd be a good gesture to credit the tutorial on your game's page :)

The jam is held about once a month, but always during the weekend :)

Yes! You can make a game in whatever engine you choose :)

fake

God damn, look at that build size! Half a gig just for a small game. Unreal Engine 5 chunky

I think the days are too long. It's also boring, as there isn't much going on. Otherwise though, I like the drawings.

The art is amazing. Everything about the game just gives off such an eerie vibe

Really appreciate it :)

Thanks a lot!

VERY creative. Haven't seen someone submit a traditional game like this before.

Truly a piece of art.

Made me shit and piss, but also gave me an insatiable lust to replay the Half-Life games...

Thanks, I initially wanted to make it so that your progressively got faster while holding space, just like the enemies do, but I just didn't have time to do that, as I just graduated a couple of days ago and am celebrating my 20th birthday tomorrow.

Thanks for the feedback though! And I'm glad you noticed the little feature in the main menu :)

Despite there not being much gameplay to it, the main mechanic is great and just executed so well. How did you do it? What's the trick?

Either way, great work. Only problem is that the bands seem to glitch a little if you move them around too much, but I can't see anyone doing that unless they're intentionally testing out the limitations.

How did you make the light trail thing? Do you use particles or what? It's pretty sick
