Thanks so much. After a bunch of half finished games I wanted to try and just polish it up a bit and make something cohesive with a start and end. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback.

Hahaha Thank you so much for playing! <3

I was raging by level 3 haha. Loved it, good job.

The block got sort of stuck for a second or two in a few places. I'm unsure if this was intentional, I had to jump a couple times to get it un stuck. But still a fun game!

Yes I would have loved to have a leaderboard in it, still looking into the best way to do this through godot & itch.io. If anyone as any tips I would super appreciate it!

They are allowed to overlap which is a bit unfair, however I sort of wanted there to be a feeling of too many snakes, and I wasn't sure how to do this if there was gaps between the snakes. I will try to work on this, thanks so much for the feedback.

I'm so glad it made you laugh :)

Thank you so much for the feedback :)

Thank you for the feedback. Appreciate it :)

Awesome! Thanks so much, its a simple little game but I like it haha.

Loved this, felt not too intense even in the later waves. I really enjoyed it and liked the use of multiple themes

Same here, the aethetics seem so good. So hope it gets fixed up!

I liked the puzzle of this and found the game play and feel quite good. I think focusing on polishing the gui will just elevate the game so much!

Fun, replayable, and silly :) I did find the physics a bit funky sometimes, especially playing on laptop with just the touchpad haha

This is an interesting use of the Just a Scarecrow theme, very different to others in the jam. I enjoyed it.

I loved what I played but was very tricky. The art and feel is perfect though!

Very cool concept, as a lover of tetris I didn't think I would need to use the learn button. Boy was I wrong haha. Great job!

Real cute. Played a few times to get different birds. Enjoyable. Good job.

art

Absolutely gorgeous and silly. I love it.

Loved this simple, clean puzzle game. works really well for theme, great job!

This was pretty darn cool. Loved the music fading in and out and all the sprites. The concept of having allied croissants and muffins and such  is brilliant. I really enjoyed playing felt well rounded. With more storyline/ narrative I feel like it could definitely be like a weird cafe hotline miami - I mean that with the highest compliments.

I really loved the overall feel, I also love the idea. I think if you had more time to flesh it out ad have more objectives it would be super fun. As it was I finished it rather quickly so I wish there was more!

This is a very enjoyable and replayable little game. I like it.

I'm so glad

This is snakes and no ladders next level, I loved every second. Amazing job.

hi, that’s fair enough. This is a bit of a math game.

So the question at the top of the screen states how many snakes there should be in the box. If there are more than that number click “too many snakes” if there are less click “not enough”. If the number is the same you can click either button and score a point.

so if it says, “are there 3 snakes?”

And there are 2 snake sprites on the screen there are not enough snakes.

if it says, “are there 10 snakes?”and there are 20 snakes in the box then it’s too many. And clicking the “too many” button will score you a point.

if it says are there 2 snakes and there are 2 snakes you can click either and score a point.

i hope this helps, if not let me know :)

I actually had a “just right” button but after some friends play tested they found it too difficult when there were a lot more snakes on the screen to count the exact number. Maybe I should have made a buffer that was the “about right” amount.

thank you for the e feedback :) Nice High Score!!

(1 edit)

Hey just checking, are we meant to make a tavern inspired game? Or is this like a metaphor haha and this game jam is getting us together and meeting similar to in a tavern - DND style?

Hope my question isn't too silly and makes some sense.

Would you say too many snakes?

This is such a beautiful game. I love all the customers, do you have names for al the characters? I would love to know what there names are if you do :)

Bruh this was good, fnaf style but homework haha

This is such a cool style. I really love the hand drawn look, and the sound effects are fun.
Like Hexadotz said, the only real downside is that the orbs sometimes swarm in every column making it so you have no other option. Otherwise super fun to play.

Thank you! ☺️

yes! Revenge of the carrots!

thank you, totally agree it’s unfair at the moment. Hoping to get it so then the bunnies detect if the carrot is in that space and only if it is not to spawn there.

Thanks for the feedback ☺️

The sound creation and narration is pretty awesome especially due to the time restraints so you should definitely be proud of yourself for that. I love the idea of the game however for me it just wasn't running very smoothly, the swords from the treasure chest were just appearing as sprites not being picked up and my attacks were quite slow. I think if that was polished up it is a really cute well thought out game idea.

I like it. At first I didn't know what to do exactly, but when I did it was a pretty cool idea. If there was more of a reaction or more impact/motivation to clean the bones smoothly and not just cut about em then I would play a full version of this.

Thanks so much, that was definitely the funnest part. Really wish I could've finished it too, but I decided to use Godot for the first time and tried about a thousand different ways to do everything I wanted and I just couldn't work out a way to do everything. Hopefully with more use things will be easier and every game jam entry better than the last one :)

Thanks

Really really nice. The level design is very nice, used the prompts very well.  I like the different themes and gameplay, in the different levels. tbh will play this again.

This is so my type of game. I got so attached to my yellow and just had bad luck and forgot at the same time and ended up losing it on day 25 :( super fun and such an interesting game.  The style is so freaking cute! super polished

cool mini angry birds style game. Really enjoyable and the graphics are so  cute!

Fun as, was hoping there would be more. I really like the cats goofy jumping. I did have a little issue with the owl the first time where the ball fell through the level but otherwise super cool concept.
