Thanks so much. After a bunch of half finished games I wanted to try and just polish it up a bit and make something cohesive with a start and end. Thanks for playing and thanks for the feedback.

Yes I would have loved to have a leaderboard in it, still looking into the best way to do this through godot & itch.io. If anyone as any tips I would super appreciate it!
They are allowed to overlap which is a bit unfair, however I sort of wanted there to be a feeling of too many snakes, and I wasn't sure how to do this if there was gaps between the snakes. I will try to work on this, thanks so much for the feedback.
This was pretty darn cool. Loved the music fading in and out and all the sprites. The concept of having allied croissants and muffins and such is brilliant. I really enjoyed playing felt well rounded. With more storyline/ narrative I feel like it could definitely be like a weird cafe hotline miami - I mean that with the highest compliments.
hi, that’s fair enough. This is a bit of a math game.
So the question at the top of the screen states how many snakes there should be in the box. If there are more than that number click “too many snakes” if there are less click “not enough”. If the number is the same you can click either button and score a point.
so if it says, “are there 3 snakes?”
And there are 2 snake sprites on the screen there are not enough snakes.
if it says, “are there 10 snakes?”and there are 20 snakes in the box then it’s too many. And clicking the “too many” button will score you a point.
if it says are there 2 snakes and there are 2 snakes you can click either and score a point.
i hope this helps, if not let me know :)
The sound creation and narration is pretty awesome especially due to the time restraints so you should definitely be proud of yourself for that. I love the idea of the game however for me it just wasn't running very smoothly, the swords from the treasure chest were just appearing as sprites not being picked up and my attacks were quite slow. I think if that was polished up it is a really cute well thought out game idea.
Thanks so much, that was definitely the funnest part. Really wish I could've finished it too, but I decided to use Godot for the first time and tried about a thousand different ways to do everything I wanted and I just couldn't work out a way to do everything. Hopefully with more use things will be easier and every game jam entry better than the last one :)
